I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort, and I must say that it was a truly unforgettable experience. The resort is situated on a stunning beach with crystal-clear waters and powdery white sand, making it the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The rooms and suites are luxurious and comfortable, with modern amenities and attentive service from the friendly staff. The food and drink options are also excellent, with a range of local and international cuisine available at the resort's restaurant. One of the highlights of my stay was the range of activities available, including snorkeling, diving, fishing, and boat trips. The resort also has a spa and wellness center, which offers a range of treatments and therapies. While there were a few minor issues with internet connectivity and limited dining options, the overall experience was fantastic. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the peaceful and secluded atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Comoros archipelago. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful beach vacation in a beautiful and remote location, I would highly recommend the Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort. Private beach is beautiful (although trash is washed up occasionally which is out of their control but they do clean it up quickly - this is a problem on the whole island). The breakfast variety was surprisingly good with an egg station. The al a carte menu was also nice although pricey. My plans had to change last minute and the staff were very helpful to accommodate along with a complimentary upgrade. The bungalow was very nice with daily cleaning. Beds slightly hard but otherwise very comfortable and quiet for most the time

Drinks were heavily over inflated. After going to the local alcohol shop it was clear we were being ripped off at 250% markup. One evening there was an event held at the beach with a loud DJ. If you were staying in the bungalow then you had the full impact of the sound in the room until late. This is not ideal as a guest and seemed it was tailored to locals without consideration for those staying in the resort.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Most speak good English and are happy to do so. The hotel is located on a beautiful piece of coastline near a pretty beach and with some spectacular sunsets. The restaurant has a good range of meals and the lobster is delicious. Breakfast is well served. Facilities are good and rooms have what you need. The grounds of the hotel are like a botanical garden, beautiful with flowers and even some tortoises including a big, old one wandering round and munching leaves.

Power supply and WiFi can be intermittent, but that affects the whole island, not just the hotel. It never lasted long.

Especially from the balcony of a 'Chambre Superieure de Luxe avec Vue sur la Mer' one can enjoy the volcanic coastline, the green surroundings and the sea. The hotel also has its own small private beach. There are nice trees on the hotel ground. At the bar they make good Mojitos and Caipirinhas. We could have dinner served at the bar, which we appreciated. Food was very good. Compliments to the chef. A/C and WiFi functioned well.

There was only one chair in the room and no chair or table on the balcony. Only one towel was provided for two (and we had to ask for a second one) to be used in the bathroom, separated by a see-through glass wall from the bedroom. It had only one reading lamp by the double bed. With one exception (Imran) the men at reception were unfriendly (no smiles, no hello). The same is valid for the lady in charge at breakfast. Late afternoon the sunbeds by the beach were usually taken already. Swimming in the water one always touched some plastic bag or other garbage (although the beach itself was obviously always cleaned up by the staff).

If you like sea views from every room and private beach, there is only one hotel on the island which is Itsandra. Apart from that the hotel is really nice with good internet and suprisingly tasty restaurant , highly recomend sea food plater - perfectly fits for 2 people. Hassan is making good job with removing trash from the beach. He speaks good english and is kind and knowledgeable person. He is also a tour guide. Breakfast is superb. Every room has sea view but i highly recommend taking luxury room which is slightly more expensive but has amazing full sea views and 100 % privacy which is not the case in Basic rooms.

Set in a beautiful location on the cliffs overlooking the bluest sea. Views were superb from the room. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety of hot and cold food. We chose to eat outside overlooking the sea each morning. The restaurant also had a large selection of food for lunch and dinner. We loved the tuna carpaccio and had it every day! Happy each morning to see the 3 tortoises wandering around the grounds. Perfect sunset location from the bar at the top. Overall a great place to explore the island from.

We only had one cup in our room despite repeatedly asking for another. We were two people so didn't understand the logic when tea/coffee was provided in the double room. Room decor was a little 'tired' - curtain hanging off the rail in parts, lighting not great.

Outstanding location on phenomenal nature. Special thanks to Ms Oumi, from the reception, who fixed the problems that came up. Staff from the bar is really polite.

The price of the transport from the airport is a complete absurd for the distance and the conditions provided. Dirty amenities inside the room and the staff from the restaurant during breakfast should be kind and polite and they are not.

Gorgeous view on the private bay & beach from the seaview beach bungalow. Bungalow was really spacious and had good facilities. Great, kind staff. Good food (European prices though).

Some little things in the bungalow didn’t work, for example some lamps, but that didn’t bother us at all.

Superb view, staff always helpful and smiling..hats off to Front desk Ibrahim, Karim, Mitiladj, and all as well as restaurant and cleaning staffs Food was delicious and nice variety to try.

Maybe the hotel need a bit of maintenance

Staff were very nice especially Iman and Ibrahaim on the front desk and appreciated the late checkout. View from room was spectacular.and fast wifi which was a surprise.

The fridge didn't work and the electronic door key often didn't but a minor glitch
