We loved the setting. The cabin is situated on a small lake which is so peaceful and quiet. There was a family of loons on the lake and they enchanted us. We ate our meals outside in this beautiful setting every day. We used the row boat provided and we able to explore the lake. Talkeetna is just a 15 minute drive away

This cabin is perfect. Comfortable , great kitchen with everything you need. Wonderful location .

Unfortunately the rain and the mosquitoes dampened some if our plans but the cabin was idyllic .

Cute little place right on the lake. View was awesome! Very comfortable and clean, with a couple of reclining chairs and enough space for all our stuff without being crowded. Had a small kitchen that was good enough for making easy meals. Lots of towels provided in the bathroom. Had a fire pit out back, which was really nice.

It was more remote than I thought it would be - about 15 minutes from town. Nice views but couldn't walk around the lake.

Impeccably clean cabins right on a tranquil lake in Talkeetna. Owner goes out of his way to ensure you have everything you need. Even supplies a few rowboats with life jackets to explore the lake so you can check out the beaver dam and local loons. Owner also has a mosquito magnet to help keep the pests at bay and even supplies bug spray in case you forget to bring your own (try not to forget bug spray in the summer months). Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, tap water is hot upon demand in all showers/sinks and kitchen has a mini-fridge, microwave, oven, tea pot and coffee maker. Coffee, sugar, powder creamer as well as salt and pepper are supplied. Bring your own tea or cocoa if you are not a coffee drinker and water if you are not a fan of well water. Honestly, I have zero complaints about this place. Wayne (owner) was a pleasure to do business with and provided us with superb accommodations that is about 15 minutes away by car from the hustle and bustle of main street of Talkeetna (which is always lively in the summer months with ample quality food, fun activities, and shopping). Be sure to check out The Flying Squirrel, just a few minutes from the cabins and has such great breakfasts, lunch options and treats! Payo's Thai Kitchen is also nearby to the cabins is also a very tasty Thai, outdoor dining option. Love Talkeetna and these cabins tucked off a dirt road in this Alaskan paradise!

Just wish they had a water filter (like Bria) in fridge for those picky water drinkers like me and a variety of tea bags/ cocoa for the non-coffee drinkers. Other than that, I honestly, cannot think of anything else that the owners have yet to already provide. They really have outdone themselves offering such quality accommodations.

We had a view of the lake out our back window, in which a Loon family had babies we could watch. He had firewood and charcoal on hand for grilling/fire. He even let us use the boats at the dock which was really nice. Heater worked and there was even hot water. Back deck had a table and chairs. Owner was super chill and nice.

Its not bad, but the lake is very small and there is very small walking trails on the property.

Loved the location as we were looking for something quiet/ secluded. This was perfect, yet still accessible to downtown / talkeetna village, which was just a short 20 minute drive. The cabin was perfect for my family of 4. Lovely lake facing property where you can go boating for free too. Fun and relaxing! Owners were super sweet and helpful too.

This is a wonderful, quiet, secluded cabin on a beautiful lake. This was the only cabin offered year round so we were the only people around. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. Wayne was very friendly and helpful. We will visit again!!

Its a really nice little cabin to get away from the city. It's outside the city so no noise.

There aren't a lot of food choices around.

Need something like a wagon option to transport luggage and firewood. Dolly might work for some, but not for us. Fix lr window screen

Location was great. We used the rowboat and had a great time. The cabin had good beds, comfortable chairs and a fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful lake views and wood for purchase for a fire

Overhead lighting provided no ambiance. Soap for shower was terrible. Could have had coffee available. Heater was a little hard to regulate temperature.
