A very quiet, pleasant, clean motel on Route 66. This is a terrific option for Route 66 travelers right in the middle of the wonderful town of Seligman. I especially like the keypad door lock that uses a 4-digit code that is meaningful to me; no bulky keys or key cards to carry.

Two very minor quibbles. The old, non-operational heating system is still on the wall, giving the room a dated feel. The bathroom has no place to easily set items like a toothbrush, deodorant, etc.

It was a nice value, and it was where I needed it to be. The town was interesting and fun.

Though the hot water in the sink was hot, the water in the tub only got just above body temperature. Just enough to be tolerable.

Nicely decorated room. Clean. A lot of parking. Easy communication with hotel manager. On the way to Grand Canyon South Rim. Good spots to eat nearby.

The pillows - not comfortable - filled with synthetic cotton.

Quiet, friendly host

Door leaked a lot of air so heater kicked on and off until it popped the breaker. Got very cold until I reset breaker early in the morning.

I liked the clever mid century design of the hotel.

The hotel is right on Route 66 so the night traffic woke me up a couple of times. I would have liked another shelf in the bathroom where I could put my makeup and cleaning stuff.

It was very neat and clean. They have done a good job of updating it and making it nice.

The beds seem to be a little too close to the air conditioning units.

The owners were very nice and it was a pleasure to stay at The Postcard Motel

It's just a suggestion but having coffee is important. Maybe a coffee maker in the rooms. Everything was closed in the morning when I woke up. I didn't have an opportunity to have my morning coffee until I left.

Clean and quiet room, had everything that we needed. Bed was comfy. Was a cold night but the room was toasty! Didn't meet any of the staff however communication for check in was on point.

Only criticism was that the hot water didn't get very hot in the morning

Seligman is a very small town (I guess probably <100 houses/properties/stores) so I and my wife didn't expect a very good room but it came out to be a very comfy room. The room and bathroom were clean. The room did have the heater running well. It had a microwave oven (I used it 4 times) and a small refrigerator (didn't use it but it was running as well). The room furniture was also good, 2 side tables and a big make-over table with a mirror. Even 2 chairs with a small round coffee table. I guess we have got everything needed for a stay. It's on the ground (1st floor so no stairs) and parking was given in front of the door so just 2-5 steps away. The staff looked like a family couple. Overall we were happy. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Grand Canyon South Rim it would be perfect at a cheap price this is what we did. :)

Haha we wanted to visit nearby gift shops as it was a small town and we wanted to explore it a bit but by the time we arrived in the evening (both days) all stores were already closed except the 'family dollar' store the soda was so cheap on this store :)

- The location, Seligman is a lovely historical city, one the Route 66. Everything is around : bar, ice creams, gift shops - The room was clean, and comfty!
