I thoroughly enjoyed everything. I booked this trip a month or two in advance for a family reunion we were attending for the 4th of July. I called because I saw some concerning reviews, but after speaking with the property manager, my concerns melted away to relief. My overall experience was great!! The property was comfortable, we enjoyed the pool, breakfast was pretty good, and the customer service was exceptional.

There was only one elevator. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Overall, this hotel is a good option, especially for a small town away from the interstate. It's currently being renovated, which didn't seem to impact our room at all, but the gym was closed and the breakfast area was somewhat impacted but manageable. The room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable! No issues with mold, mildew, or weird smells, which we have sometimes dealt with at hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very big and accommodated my family well. I really liked that check out was at 11 that gave my family time to sleep in as well as enjoy the pool for a little bit and eat breakfast. The staff was extra kind and helpful.

The only things I did not like was that at one point in the elevator I must have got in behind someone smelling of Marijuana. Our bedroom door also seemed to be off track as it had a big gap in the lower part of it you could see the hallway lights. Also our shower amenities such as soaps and shampoo was not refilled so after our first shower we ran out luckily had brought some.

The comfort of rooms, the location, the friendliness of the staff, and their eagerness to please.

There are a few tables short in the dining room, but I understand because you are in the process of completing its renovation. I wish you'd had biscuits, gravy, and grits for breakfast, but that isn't a deal breaker. What you provided was excellent.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable.

I left something behind, and they were nice enough to call and tell me and ask if I wanted it shipped. I said yes, and the employee on the phone said someone would call me the next day about shipping. No one called, they charged my card $10 to ship the item. The postage on the envelope was $9.65. They left out part of what was supposed to be shipped, and the item they did send cost $2-4 MAX to ship. I'll be paranoid about them randomly running my card again for awhile.

Nice clean place with good nice people

It was in renovation and the pool/weight room was down. I was not informed of this or I would have stayed elsewhere with a pool and facilities not being worked on for the price.

Everything, especially the pool! It was 86 degrees. The breakfast was great with a variety of selections.

The whirlpool was working correctly, i.e., the jets didn't work. I had no ironing board in my room. I had to request it a couple of times.

The hospitality and clean/upkept facility.

There was trash left in the trash cans and a cup in the refrigerator in the room. Facility needs a little work on the decor in the rooms but overall a nice comfortable place to stay

location is great because we travel to see family there. Good breakfast and coffee each day. Courteous and friendly staff

The bathroom could have used some regrouting. Unfortunately we had a child in the room above that ran back and forth in the room making a lot of noise each night until 11pm.

the staff was exceptional. the system was down all weekend until Sunday morning. I had no problem getting access to my room when I needed it. Holly is amazing and so accommodating. She always thanked me for my patience and was willing to do whatever necessary to ensure I had what I needed. I will stay here every time my I come to Monticello to see my daughter at UAM and for her softball games. thank you for all that you do to make guests feel at home!!
