This is great value. A refurbed retro hotel in an awesome location. Walking distance to The Grove, local restaurants and shopping. As an Aussie from Melbourne who is a typical Melbourne coffee snob, I also found amazing coffee close by! We had a corner room which was quite large and had a pullout sofa that was already made up for our arrival. There is a restaurant downstairs called Swingers 'lols' but it had great classic Amercian meals and friendly staff.

Room was comfortable and reasonably quiet at night for being on a busy street. Location was great. We were able to easily walk to many great restaurants. Parking was convenient, but not "free".

Place was listed online as having "free parking" but that really isn't true. They charge a $35 resort fee that includes parking. On the hotel website, the fee is listed as $15 but when I called the hotel the clerk said that was wrong, it's $35. The parking fee was less expensive than other hotels in the area, and parking was easy. Just wish they would call it was it is - a parking fee.

This was a cute retro hotel in a good location. Swingers diner right next door was great (cool vibe, staff friendly, food was good).

My friend and I arrived at 10pm tired from a long drive and were annoyed to find that it was valet parking and not self parking. They said it was complimentary but I felt compelled tip getting the car in and out. Be prepared for that expense. Upon check-in the guy at the front desk informed us that the elevator was not in service, so we were stuck taking our large/heavy suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. Neither he nor the valet guy offer to help two ladies. That was disappointing, to say the least.

The location is really good. The staff is kind and polite. The facilities were good and the hotel seems pretty new, although it may look “vintage”. The hotel has a free parking and valet for your car, which combined with the great location makes it perfect for someone looking for a value-on-cost stay in LA. Other thing that really positively surprised me is that by looking at the bathroom’s window I could see the Hollywood sign

The housekeeping only works if you schedule on the night before, and I discovered it only in my last day. It has carpet on the floor, which I’m not a fan of.

It's an absolutely charming mid century modern kitsch (in the best way) motel, right out of a Wes Anderson movie. Even though it looks mid-century, it has all the amenities including a big screen TV, coffee maker, etc. The location is central to most of the West Side, as well as downtown, with lots of shopping and restaurants quite close. The room comes with parking, which is a huge value in LA, although it's valet only, which can take some time.

I guess the only thing I didn't like was that it could take a while to get your car from Valet, but that's a tiny complaint for a fabulous hotel experience.

Love the retro vibe. Staff is helpful. Pool is clean and a fun area to hang out. Diner next door is great.

The rooms and the whole place need a deep clean. Couches in corner rooms are beat up. Parking is valet or on your own with very limited spots that are also used by staff. Construction on both sides of hotel in May of ‘24- not the hotels fault, but of note.

Clean, tidy, modern but retro looking. Friendly and helpful staff. Liked that the entrance to the rooms were on the ‘inside’ overlooking the pool, as opposed to usual motel types where they face the front. Not enough/any charging facilities. Ate at the swingers restaurant 2 times late at night and food was great both times. Valet parking but wasn’t really needed.

Location in terms of the area, didn’t feel that safe at night but was fine in hotel as room doors faced inwards. Location wasn’t ideal for us really but good access to the Grove.

Love the style, like a classic motel but with an upgrade. The lil pool was awesome to have in the middle of a hot day with towels provided, rooms are vleaned every 3 days which is not a problem for us qe always had plenty clean towels and room supplies. Corner room was huge! Much bigger than anticipated with great sized bed. Staff were fabulous especially valet team. Having valet and parking in LA included in your stay is so valuable it can be an absolute nightmare here. As well as having the best diner next door!

There was construction going on everyday next to us however this is out of hotels control and it is LA so noise is the usual. And they got us up n out for a morning hike at least.

This vintage motel is very conveniently located in West hollywood and with free parking. Staff is nice and helpful. Front desk is open 24/7 which is great. The room we stayed in was very spacious, quiet and with a nice view of the hotel's pool area. Price was OK for the area.

The mattress is very very soft. Cleaning could be a bit more thorough. Carpet on the floor looks very old: maybe time to upgrade and remove it?
