Very friendly staff., clean and comfortable. It was much nicer than we expected. The location was great if you're going to Lassen National Park. The park was closed when we went.. so it ended up being a stop over. The restaurant across the street was awesome, another welcomed surprise! Just know there is no cell service and no internet in the room.. the internet in the store was down due to weather...so plan to be unplugged!

The smell of pinesol was overwhelming when we arrived.... I am really chemically sensitive, so we really had to air the room out for a long time. I would suggest less pungent cleaning supplies.

Excellent location for visiting Lassen National Park. Very welcoming staff. On premise store sold basic provisions and also had bike rentals. The excellent dining at the lodge across the street.

Dinning options were very limited nearby. Room had a small fridge and microwave, but not enough space to eat inside. Would have like to have a picnic table outside for picnicking or prepping picnic lunches, esp since there was a fire pit and charcoal grill available.

The place is beautiful and isolated and Close to the Visitor Center at the Lassen Volcanic National Park, the equipment is of a good standard and the restaurant serves excellent food

At check out we asked to pay in cash. We were assured that our credit card would be credited and that they would send us a receipt by email. In practice our credit card is credited and then charged again! , I mean they charged us double payment in cash + credit card! Every attempt to contact the place by email or phone was unsuccessful

Remote location yet good access to food. Sweeping views of meadows in the shadow of large hills on both front and back. Lots of parking. An upscale restaurant across the street and a very welcoming and cozy outdoor cafe on the property. Staff were super - very welcoming and very helpful and friendly.

Limited food choices on the cafe menu. No internet in the room. Rooms rather spare.

Frank's was our go to each morning. Quick, easy, affordable. Would have liked an earlier start (other than 8 am) but, service was great!

Room floor never felt clean. Coffee pot was filthy until last day. Recommend upgrading toilet paper and installing a light in shower, along with a hand held sprayer. No A/C or Wifi.

The room was neat, clean, and well made. I especially liked the shower with excellent shampoo and great smelling body wash. Although there was no air conditioning, the ceiling fan did the job.

Although there was a sign with the wifi code and password in the room, the wifi only worked at the store. Basically there is no cell service in the area.

The rooms were renovated and had a luxury vibe which I wasn't expecting.

The parking lot setup blocked the meadow from the room and chairs view. Wish there was a pool and hot tub to use after long day of hiking for the price. Also would be nice to have usable WiFi -- but a pro if you want to disconnect.

The room had everything we needed, enough space and clean.

They had chairs on the grass in front of each room which were perfect for your morning coffee except that they had sprinklers going every morning which soaked the chairs and you couldn't use them.

The staff was really nice and it was good we had 2 restaurant options very close. The location is fantastic for Mt Lassen. Mattress was comfy.

I wish there was cleaning daily. Wi-Fi was only available at the lobby/store and wouldn’t reach my room. No phone signal

Wonderful location, very clean room, bed was comfortable - overall very happy with the experience. No hesitation in recommending this property.

This is not about the property (which was great) but about the fact that we never received any notification regarding checking in between 4 and 6pm and what to do if arrival is after that time. We spent a few tense moments because we arrived pretty late at around 9pm and there was no staff to be seen around, the office was closed and our cell phones were saying no service. Fortunately a staff member from the highlands resort from across the street was able to help us.
