Great location within walking distance to Old Pasadena. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I was not pleased to have to pay $30 a night for parking that was shared with the convention center. We stayed mid-week so it was not crowded but I can imagine that it would be very difficult to find a parking space on a weekend or if there was a convention. The fitness room was small and not well ventilated. There was a decent set of free weights but very limited options for cardio. The addition of some Peloton bikes and Concept II rowers would be a big improvement.

I thought the hotel was very nice. Clean and comfortable.

I got there about 7:30 pm and I had to wait about 1/2 for my room. I asked the guy, checking me to ask if they could call me a cab in the morning because I was going into the hospital. He said yes. The next morning, I went down at about 5 am. and was told no, they couldn't call for me because I needed to order a cab 24 hours in advance. I told him I needed to go to the hospital, and he told me to check with the evacuation center to see if they could take me. I wanted something light to eat and drink the night before, and when I asked about vending machines, I was told that they didn't have any. They didn't tell me the self check snack area was available near the check-in desk.

We had our company holiday party here and their event halls are very spacious. I stayed at this hotel just for the night and it was good so far. Lobby has a modern ambiance with old school film pieces which gives out old hollywood look. The room fragrance may be strong for those who have sensitive noses but nothing major. They do have a bar that opens at 3pm called Agents Only and breakfast at the Lyric which are both located inside the hotel. My room was good for a standard king bed. Lots of storage, mini fridge, complementary coffee, and one bottles water. The AC however is placed where the cool air does not circulate the room, and it does get noisy as it restarts to bring back the temperature of the room. Bathroom is okay for me. I am not a fan of how the shower is. It is giving standard gym shower. Had to place two towels on the ground to prevent the water from spreading out further all over the bathroom floor. They have a mini convenience/souvenir store for guest to for those last minute needs like toothpaste and etc.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable and in a good location. We were there for the Rose Bowl and able to walk everywhere.

The hotel is very stylish and well decorated, with a "movie writer/producer" theme. The rooms are extremely clean, and had everything needed. Much of Pasadena is walking distance from here, and the staff at the bars, restaurants, and check in were very friendly and helpful.

The parking garage is huge and shared with the Pasadena Convention Center. Finding parking and entering the hotel is challenging. The rooms are a little small, but has everything needed. Not much of a view here.

The air conditioner broke with a terrible sound at 3 AM and we at difficulty going back to sleep. However the manager was terrific everyone was very apologetic and we were upgraded to a lovely suite..

Lovely hotel in a great location. Fantastic staff who were always welcoming and helpful - especially Rosie took good care of us in the restaurant and remembered our breakfast orders. The pool area is really inviting. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection.

There were 3 elevators but only 1 or 2 were working at any given moment. We stayed 4 days so would have expected the lifts to be fixed during this time.

The Hotel Dena was perfectly located for our weekend trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The best part of the stay was the room service! The hours were great, the service was quick and the options were plenty!

My only two issues were fairly minor. The electors were super slow though it did give you a chance to chat with people while you were waiting. The real issue for me was that I am very sensitive to smells and I had to take allergy medications to not be effected by the different scents throughout the hotel - including whatever detergent was used for the bed linens. This will not be a problem for most people but for those that are sensitive, it is just something to be forewarned about.

Excellent staff, really helpful and supportive even at a time of high stress. Location is really good, very close to old Pasadena, but in the direction of Caltech, which worked perfectly for me. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable.
