The location is pretty good . We felt very safe there.Nearby is a grocery store and if you want to see the Redwood Trees, it is just a couple of minutes drive away. The stuff was very nice and polite . So if you have a question or need anything, just ask them. They are super friendly. We had a good stay :)

It was a little bit expensive for the facilities you get.

The manager was great, we were on motorcycles and had been in the rain and rode for 14 hours that day. He heard us pull up and because the parking lot was on a downhill slope, he cleared the only cement level pad and had us park there. They were great, the room was clean, large and plenty of hot water! would recommend!

The bathroom was so tiny beyond the norm. The lack of breakfast was a disappointment. The town was very small and won't be good for those looking for services. But it's the best for those visiting the Eel River and the Avenue of the Giants.

The location was great for the event we were participating in over the weekend. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Even went above and beyond to replace a TV in our room that was damaged by the prior guest. I would recommend this place.

The room location was perfect. Staff was super nice and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights. Room was very clean. We even had 2 complimentary waters in the fridge cold waiting for us. The price was very reasonable as well. We will stay again when in the area.

We didn't see an ice machine, but we also didn't ask. We bought some water bottles that froze the freezer that we would travel with in our ice chest during the day.

Good sized room, comfortable bed, the bathroom and kitchen facilities were great. We had a small issue with fridge that owner came straight over and fixed but maybe replace fridge, no racks in door or door on ice box. Right next door is a bar/grill which we thoroughly enjoyed!

We had an early start and the only cafe didn’t open till 20 so we missed breakfast. This was nothing to do with Northern Inn but a pain.

I am so appreciative of the hospitality I received. I had a medical emergency while staying and was treated extraordinarily well.

Nothing could have been better!

Large, comfortable bed, heater worked, big refrigerator (for a hotel room), bathroom fixtures appear new. Room was not cramped.

Heard voices til midnight, downstairs or next door.

No breakfast but there was a coffee station in the room. The location was great, close to the Avenue of Giants and the redwood state park.

For the price it was great.

Super clean. Hot water. Serious water pressure. Great value for the $$ If you're not looking for add-on amenities, but looking for a great place to stay in the redwoods. I can't recommend this more
