The room was very large, the kitchenette was very well equipped, large fridge and freezer, and plenty of room in the bathroom. The room was quiet and the AC worked well. The windows could be opened for fresh air, and the lighting was excellent. It is one of the best hotel rooms we have stayed in over many years. The staff was excellent, very helpful and was very professional.

I cannot think of anything that we didn't like. The side yard could use a little care, but otherwise, our stay was wonderful and the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Challis has some pleasant hot springs, about 3 miles from this lodge. The property was clean and well kept up and the kitchenette thoughtfully equipped.

Could have provided an outdoor sitting area, barbeque.

This hotel is the nicest in Challis. I know because I've stayed at them all through the years. We stayed here before our 4-day backpacking adventure in the White Cloud Wilderness, so the comfort of a bed and shower before our big hike was a welcome treat!

I could hear the TV in the room next door. Fortunately, it was turned off before it got too late—other than that, the place worked out well.

It's quiet and unique. It's very clean, the bathrooms are big, and the beds are comfy. Great pillows and sheets and great staff. The first time I stayed our room had a kitchenette with a portable induction cooktop with induction cookware and the cupboards had every utensil possible plus a full size residential fridge. Second room had normal hotel amenities in it. Both rooms are excellent

The only thing they don't have is a breakfast option and no snack vending machine.

The room was spacious. We were exhausted when we arrived and after a long shower fell asleep immediately in the amazing bed, complete with plenty of perfect pillows. My husband and I both loved the shampoo, conditioner and lotion too-great quality!

Lovely place, great staff and very comfortable room. It's a shame there was no breakfast available but it was only a short walk to a restaurant. I would stay here again.

This place is a bright spot in a town with few quality hotel options. It's located a few blocks off of the main road and is very quiet and clean. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.

Some sort of breakfast option would've been nice, but there was a decent place to go in town, so not essential. The curtains over the air conditioner need to be weighted so that they don't blow everywhere when the A/C is running. This is very minor though.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The room was super clean and comfortable; we slept great!
