I love beautiful historic buildings so the Whitetail appealed to me. The bed was super-comfortable and the room was spacious and well-equipped with fridge and coffee maker. The heat pump cooling system was very effective and quiet during the early autumn heat wave. The location was good, being situated on the edge of the town center, close to restaurants and stores. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I'd stay there again.

My only minor gripe was the bathtub; some traction strips or even a rollup rubber mat would have been helpful as it was rather slippery once it got wet and soapy. I didn't have any problems but I could easily see someone with balance issues having difficulty and potentially falling. Check-in and out were largely self-serve, which I didn't mind at all but some might find odd.

This pretty inn has been lovingly updated with many nice touches that made it a pleasure to stay. I stayed in Room 26 which is located in the main house, right off the inn’s sitting room. Spotlessly clean it was a tiny space but comfortable and perfectly suited to a single traveller; it had most of the things I needed to have a restful night after a long drive. There were just a few items that would add some convenience. The tiny bedside table held a large lamp which took up most of the table surface leaving no room for a glass of water, a book, reading glasses, etc. A CPAP machine would have been out of the question. A wall sconce would make a better choice. The only mirror is a tiny one over the bathroom sink. There is a larger mirror in the sitting area outside the room but that doesn’t really suit…perhaps a mirror over the table and chairs would be better? The Roku equipped TV and Keurig coffee machine didn’t come with any instructions. Since I have never used either of these I had to figure them out by trial and error, not difficult but a little inconvenient. One final complaint..the toilet paper! Single ply and very rough it seems an unfortunate place to be cutting costs

From the time I booked the inn until the time I departed I never saw a single staff member; everything was done remotely! It wasn’t really a problem but it was a little odd. I rather felt like I was invading a private home. What did cause me some concern was that the room door had no secondary lock, such as a deadbolt or a chain, just a standard key lock. With no staff in the building and a front door unlocked until 9PM I felt, as a single woman travelling alone, slightly vulnerable. The other complaint was the state of the parking lot. Its pretty rough and there is an enormous pothole at the entrance. It appeared to be undergoing repairs so I believe that state affairs is being addressed.

I loved the quirks of the historical rooms and buildings, and was happy to see that the owners have not OVER modernized the place. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Although our room did not have a private bathroom, it was great to have our own sink in the room.

We opted for a room with a shared bathroom, and next time will choose a unit with its own bathroom - only because on 2 of our 5 mornings, there was quite a wait. Otherwise, the bathroom was kept VERY clean, with plenty of towels and all the supplies one would need.

The hotel was incredibly nice and quaint. The room was very nice and very clean, as well as the shared bathroom. The area had great accessibility to local restaurants and other accommodations. The staff at the hotel were magnificent! I forgot an essential item in my room, and the staff went out of their way to safeguard it until I was able to return to retrieve it.

The room and lobby were exceptionally clean. Booking was easy and all information was spelled out clearly in the confirmation email. Location is great as it is on the same street as the local Walmart, Dunkin' Donuts and two restaraunts.

The only complaints I have is that there was no staff to be found. When "checking in" there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and still no one came. I was getting ready to pull my cell phone out and call when I noticed envelopes on the counter. Each of the room keys were in an envelope on the desk with names on them. I found this to be a little unsettling as anyone could just walk into the lobby, pick up and envelope, and let themselves into a room. We spent only one night here and both the internet and television didn't work. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to come fix it as I genuinely don't believe there was any staff present.

Suite 23 had the bathroom as a walk-through room. To go from the kitchen in the front, you had to walk-through the bathroom to get to the bedrooms. So don't take #23. Super weird!

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had a microwave and small fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. There was a guide for all the channels on the TV.

The hotel is quaint. It is a gorgeous old Victorian home. It's self-check-in. I was called and given the code to the key locker. No person to check you in, hmm. OK. Bathroom was cleanish. Bed was okay. The room was tidy, but nothing extravagant. Water pressure was good and the temperature was good. The power went out overnight, and the:room was freezing. Do not expect a quiet night. It's not exactly sound proof. Traffic runs all night.
