The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The restaurant was right there with delicious meals at a fair price. We came up to Houlton for a reunion and it was worth staying 10 miles out of town for the value. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

The food at the restaurant was absolutely wonderful, with a great variety on the menu, and the prime rib was everything we had been told about; it did not disappoint. The gift shop was lovely. Our room was neat, clean, and adequate, and the owners were so helpful with the television that we had difficulty with. Brookside Inn is a hidden gem. Having the restaurant right there is a real bonus.

The hotel is older but has been updated with good lighting, the AC/heater was very good, room was clean, there was fridge and microwave, and beds were very comfortable. We were very impressed with management of this hotel. Breakfast was not complimentary but was very reasonably priced at restaurant on property (omelet, potatoes and bread for $5, add-ons for additional charge). Other meals were very reasonable and food was delicious; wish we'd been there before 7:00 closing to have dinner. Bought a whoopie pie and fudge - both great! - and several souvenirs at reasonable prices. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Would prefer queen beds instead of double beds but we booked (2) doubles and each slept in a separate bed. Complimentary breakfast is nice but for the price is unnecessary, esp with such a good restaurant on property.

Comfortable room, conveniently located near the highway and just a few minutes from Houlton. The staff are friendly. It snowed the night I was there and there was someone to plow the parking lot in the morning.

The restaurant was closed the morning after my stay. It WAS Easter weekend and there was about 6" of snow, so I can't really blame them for not opening the restaurant.

The room was comfortable, the restaurant was great, the location is great near the highway and close to Houlton. The WIFI was pretty good.

I wish I had control over the lights outside the room, they were pretty bright, even with the curtains drawn(maybe there is a switch inside the room). I like to sleep in total darkness

I've stayed here several times and have never had guests on either side of my room. This time there were guests next door. The walls were a little thin, but it wasn't a big problem.

No coffee pot in the room, traffic noise, a little pricey for what you get, a little nervous coming in after 7 pm they leave the key in the door for you

It was lovely. The restaurant is great. The best cinnamon toast I have ever had. Everyone was nice and our dog had a great time playing catch on the side lawn. Highly recommend.

The location is conveniently near Hwy 95 and just 15 minutes from Houlton. The room is basic, but very comfortable. WiFi, Cable TV, heated room. The restaurant has great food and friendly staff. I've stayed here several times.

Room was comfy and had wifi. Restaurant is great home style cooking. Servers are very sweet and attentive.
