I loved that the property was pet friendly, as we love bringing our pup along. The location was outstanding! The view of the lake and Saddleback and the convenience of walking to town was amazing. Also, the kitchen was better stocked than my own at home and the beds were by far the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. The staff were super friendly and helpful and overall, we it was a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

Really the only complaint was the screen door handle broke off and it would have been nice to have a hook or something on the porch for our dog's leash. We stayed early in the season but it would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit on.

The location was very nice. Right on the lake with a lovely view of the loons frolicking in the water. The rooms were small but very nicely accomodating with a kitchenette, Coffee maker, lovely, homey touches with a fun mountain lake theme with bears and moose touches. It basically had everything you could need to enjoy an extended stay during summer .It was also right near downtown shops. Lots to explore.

They were in the process of renovating rooms. I'm sure all the rooms will have a fun eclectic touch. We came a bit off season, so i'm sure they'll finish getting things updated before Summer.

Town and Lake is a very rustic type of accommodation. There is no air conditioning but even in July it is comfortable at night. They do provide Wi-Fi which is rare in that area for a hotel as well as a very large flat screen tv. The cabins are a nice size and they also have a dishwasher. The views as you look out your front windows are beautiful! It is walking distance to town which has several good restaurants.

They were in dire need of a new roof on our cabin and it did leak in 2 places while we were there when it rained hard one night. They apologized for the inconvenience and were told roofing materials were on order. The mattresses crunched and really should be replaced.

Our room had everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the lake view was beautiful, staff friendly, TV large and easy to use.

We didn't like was that we could hear the people in the next room. I think it wasn't because the walls are thin - but because they were really loud people! Also there were spiders in the corners of our room - but being that we are right on the lake and the time of year - that's would not be surprising. BUT - I would suggest that the cleaners check corners of the rooms when cleaning.

The location on the lake was superb. We were booked to go on a seaplane trip across the lakes and the provider was literally just next door, so very convenient. The room was a little small, but everything was there, including a monster-sized fridge/freezer. There were chairs outside on the terrace overlooking the lake. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

My only complaint is that clearly a dog had stayed in our room before us. The bed cover had white hairs all over it and our clothes were covered with dog hair. Perhaps there should be doggy rooms and non-doggy rooms?

The location was great- Walk to the center of town and to lake front area. Kayaks and canoes available at hotel- no charge Rooms were clean, airconditioned, had all the necessities for a comfortable stay - kitchenette, access to outdoor deck with seating, WIFI, etc

Rooms were a little small - difficulty opening fridge due to kitchen table and chairs in the way - but not a huge issue. Cracked window in the front of the room needs to be repaired.

We had a last minute stay here for a ski trip at saddleback and it was excellent. Due to circumstances, we had to check in a little after the typical check in window and the owner worked with us well to allow this. The room was great, up to date appliances, and very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend staying here, we are already looking forward to planning a trip here in the summer!

Really delightful and peaceful place sitting beside the lake in Rangeley. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff, pointing us to unforgettable places to visit (e.g. Quill Hill at the top of which you get a 360 degree view of leaf peeping). Probably one of our favourite places on a three week tour of 3 States. If you want peace and quiet, this is it. Note: no breakfast/dinner facilities.

Great staff and location. Close to Saddleback which is what we visited. It is right on the lake and close to town for quick meals, etc. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to chat with. I would recommend staying here

Our room had a slightly smokey odor when we first arrived. We opened a window and turned on the shower vent to clear it out, this cleared it out without issue. Minimal dirt/road debris on the ground, but nothing to be too concerned about.

This place is amazing! Updated rooms, comfortable beds, the little kitchenette is amazing- they thought of everything! You’ll have to grab meals out or cook but at least they made it convenient! Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of storage. And the best part- right on the lake for snowmobiling, fishing, etc! The owners are super nice and appreciative to their staff as well, which is nice to see now a days!
