This is a classic old kitchenette motel with cabins. Interiors are knotty pine. Great red 1940's replica fridge. Comfortable bed. Just what we were looking for in early May, just before the busy season in the UP.

Some cleaning and repairs had yet to be finished, like dead flies in the window sills and occasional holes in screens. I give them a pass on this due to the early season reservation. I did't like the 24/7 string lights outside our front door and window and wish I could have disconnected them, though they were not obnoxiously bright.

The peace and quiet and just being with nature. The scenery was exceptional and beautiful. The hike trails were great and seeing all the different waterfalls in the area were awesome, will plan on doing another trip again.

I didn't want to come back home to a congested city with all the loudness and busyness of the community.

Loved the knotty pine walls and red retro fridge. Outdoor firepit was a bonus. Fairly spacious toom with table and chairs so we had a place to eat our breakfast. Che k in was a breeze and Jen was super friendky. We have a very enjoyable time with a couple who was staying in one of the cabins. Loved the low lights that allows for dark skies.

No ice in freezer. We didn't need much just a few cubes for a drink.

The place was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and beautifully set up. The owners were incredibly welcoming, respectful, and genuinely kind. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and personal—much better than what you'd typically find at a corporate hotel. The quality and cleanliness exceeded expectations.

Great value for money, clean and cozy rooms situated in the heart of the woodlands. We really enjoyed our time here and left wishing we had stayed longer. The owners were very friendly and helpful in directing where to go for excursions and local food. Would definitely recommend!

VERY rustic, but room has good amenities. Friendly hosts. Pay cash n get a discount. Popular stop (mind the dogs). Nice place. Really laid back. Well worth a stop. Reserve ahead so they know you're coming.

It's literally in the middle of nowhere. Address says Trout River but it is actually half way to next town on short side road. Took me an hour to find the place in the dark. Nearest food is pizza at bar in next town. Gas really expensive.

This was an adorable little property. We had a motel room with a stall shower, apt size fridge, and queen size bed. It was perfect for what we needed, and we were comfortable with the window a/c in the room. I would stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

Very clean cabins. Good facility, nice owners, and very informative. Close to numerous waterfalls and the porcupine mountains. No complaints

It was super cheap and very clean. Location was perfect for snowmobiling. Right on the trail. Plenty of parking for our buck truck and trailer.
