The night staff, when checked in late at night, took care of my son needs. Late night person was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. My son was in an accident totaling his vehicle hitting 2 rodents on the interstate by Pelican Creek 40 mns outside of Alexandria MN the night of his stay. Scott was so nice and said he'd take care of my son when he arrived. They let him stay in his room the next day at no charge until we arrived (we had to travel 6 hrs) to get him a vehicle so he could continue on to Wisconsin. Exceptional service and caring staff. The hotel was very clean.

The location was perfect for our mini trip. The grounds were clean and pretty. The room was comfortable

The walls are paper thin. Our neighbor had left their phone in their room when they went for breakfast or something, so at 630am on Sunday we got to listen to it scream/chirp for a half an hour before someone showed up to shut it off. I don't know how far down the hall the baby was, but you could hear it when it was crying(I'm good with that, a baby has to communicate) but the alarm, that was uncalled for!

It is located in downtown Alex, which is really good for convenience. The price was not bad at all, and the pool and gym although small were nice too. The breakfast was fantastic.

The floor of the room we stayed in was dirty and unswept upon us entering. There was food chunks and crumbs on the floor and around the area of the bed.

Easy accessible from highway & easy to find. Hot tub very nice.

Door jamb was crooked at the bottom & you could see right into our room from the hallway...frightening! Curtains wouldn't close with heat on-fan blowing it open. Had to prop a heavybox in the windowsill to keep them closed. No microwave oven.

The property was located conveniently between Walmart and several restaurants which made it easy to walk. What stood out to me was the eagerness and friendliness of the young man at the front desk. He was exceptional. A welcome relief after having less than polite/competent desk clerks at several of our other stays.

the location can’t be beat. the staff friendly and helpful from the time we enter until leaving (housekeeping included) we very friendly! very tasty breakfast with many choices. the scrambled eggs surprise me how fresh and flavorful they were as well as great sausage! everything seemed to be good quality products used.

i too live in MN and understand the weather and though it can’t be prevented and can be hard to keep up with, this isn’t a complaint per day but rather could be a liability and that’s the end doors opposite end of entrance doors to check in wasn’t shoveled well and it was tough walking and carrying baggage and we some some slips happen. that appeared to be an emergency door as well! just FYI!

Nothing unsatisfactory. Maybe I would like the best price, when possible, especially since I book this place every time I visit Alexandria.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the beds were super comfortable and it was quiet.

My only complaint was the cleanliness of our room. There were old food containers the refrigerator. Everything had dust on it and you could see fingerprints and dirty spots on the furniture. The toilet hadn’t been wiped down either.

The new owners did a marrvelous job of renovation and improvements. We were pleasantly surprised in the significant uptick in quality from our last stay.

The pillows were problematic - they did not well support head/neck.... our only suggestion for improvement. Yes a tad pricey, but worth it.

The king size bed was super comfortable, the hot tub was nice. And the and the flooring is really nice and better than carpet! It made it seem cleaner!

Breakfast was good except we didn't know how the pancake machine worked and didn't get help from the 2 girls at the desk. We asked and all they said was put your plate under there! Didn't leave the desk to show us so we ate something else. The Monday morning staff wasn't as friendly as the night before.
