The staff was excellent. The front desk woman was super friendly. The breakfast was good. The chips out in the evening and the snack bags to make a trail mix was an unexpected bonus. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean.

The rooms are in need of remodeling! The carpet was stained, the wallpaper was peeling off and our door had so much light coming through I had to stuff towels in to the cracks in the side and the bottom of the door to have quiet and darkness. There was also a tile or two loose on the bathroom floor we had to put a towel over to stop moving it.

Location- very few options in this area with ability to stay only one night and we were really pleased with the place clean and comfy despite the dated colors and style- they keep the place up - doesn’t smell and nothing is broken or gross - we are sensitive to smells and had no issues had a lot of “warm” touches - felt like a loving mom or grandma prepared the room and eating area Nice room and bathroom size- not cramped at all Yummy breakfast

Would have liked more outlets and places off the floor for luggage Greek yogurt or at least a “healthy” yogurt at breakfast would have been good to have like chobani or oikos or vanilla natural One bed was a bit “springy” and the other was fine so a more comfy bed?

We were really impressed with this hotel. When we checked in, the employee that greeted us was very friendly and we really got a sense that the employees at this particular hotel really understood the importance of customer service. They had a fun little "build your own trail mix" bar in the late afternoon, which we enjoyed, especially after driving a few hours to get there. We went out for the evening and when we came back we were able to order a pizza from the front desk and it was delivered to our room later. That was a nice touch that we both appreciated. The continental breakfast was nice, it had some good options and the food areas were kept really clean. All in all, we already decided that if we are ever up in that area again, and we definitely will be because it's gorgeous, we will be staying at the Country Inn.

There wasn't anything that I felt needed to be improved on. We were quite pleased.

We stayed at this hotel to see a concert at the casino. Not realizing it wasn’t within walking distance, but wanting to have adult beverages and with no taxi services in the area the hotel staff drove us to our show and also picked us up once it was done! They were all wonderful people who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

Perfect location for cyclists. At least four days of rides right from the hotel. Cleanliness was outstanding. Staff was so helpful. Add walleye to that and you have a great holiday!

Mattress needs updating.

Breakfast was good for continental, plenty to choose from. Rooms very clean as well as the rest of the hotel, hot tub and pool were nice. Place was quite, good location. absolutely no complaints.. Nice that it was pet friendly.

No issues to complain about.

Cleanliness of rooms, front desk staff courteous and very informative. And being on the 1st floor! Soft water. Yellow Duck surprise in our room and my daughter had a Strawberry Duck on her Jeep in the morning. Create your own granola mix from 3-8 pm in the breakfast room. Free postcards!

Confusion over the cost. We thought booking.com was a set deal.

Could have ended wrong they didn’t receive bookings information, but luckily, we kept it on the phone. Still ended up with a confusion of cost.

Breakfast was good. Many choices. It is right on the bike trail. You can ride your bike from the hotel to either the Heartland Trail or the Paul Bunyan Trail. It was going to rain overnight so they let us store our bikes in an unused conference room. We made use of the hot tub and pool after each of our rides.

Can’t think of anything to complain about.

Cleanliness is most important. Even the hallways looked cleaner than most hotels.

There were a few cosmetic fixes needed, peeling wall paper & ceiling water damage in bathroom. Even with these small issues, the bathroom was clean.
