My wife and I are riding our ADV motorcycle throughout the American West. As we traveled west on I-94 from Theodore Roosevelt National Park in ND, a windstorm kicked up, and we had to bail off the interstate. We were blessed to reserve a terrific room at La Quinta through Booking.com. Bonus: The young lady at check-in — without any prompting — asked if I’d like to park my bike under the entrance awning, where there is good lighting and the bike would be more secure. Wow, that’s serious customer-needs awareness! I was so happy. I parked out of the way, between the pillars, and left room behind me, in case another bike came. Sure enough, a beautiful Harley pulled up, with another rider getting out of the crazy wind. Not two hours later, a powerful thunderstorm ripped through the area. Both bikes were safe and sound! BTW, the room was nice, the hotel seems new, the staff are amazing, and the hot breakfast was terrific. I definitely will stay at LaQuinta again!

Multiple choices for hot breakfast. The biscuits were warm and tender. The sausage gravy had very good flavor. The pancakes are small but the solution is just make 4 instead of the normal 2. They were light and fluffy with the option of either maple or blueberry syrup.

The only thing I noticed was that the grout around the floor tile needed to be replaced. It is completely missing in a lot of places, but this is by no means a deal breaker with this otherwise excellent motel.

The bed was really comfortable with plenty of pillows. We were at the end of a hall, so it was very quiet. We appreciated having breakfast on-site, but it was a bit picked over and took a while to replenish.

There were not a lot of restaurant choices nearby.

Juice dispenser was out of order, but scrambled eggs and sausage with toast and jelly was good for breakfast. Great location with instant return to freeway. Room had all needed amenities including fridge with small freezer section for refreezing our ice packs. Beds were clean and comfortable. Our room was conveniently near elevator.

Did not bother with same small pancake maker as found in previous motel unlike waffle makers more often found in our travels.

The room was a good size and clean the staff were pleasant

The breakfast did not have items that were able to be taken with us. We hey up early and usually do not have time to sit down and eat but like to be able to take something with us. Maybe done packaged bakery items would be nice and fruit

A great place lay your weary head. Staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean, bed was just right. No complaints with my stay at all and I'd gladly stay here again. This property must be brand new because it was flawless from top to bottom. Check out the Gust Hauf restaurant up the road for a good no frills bite to eat.

Breakfast was a step above normal hotel breakfasts. Appreciated the eggs, potatoes and biscuits. My daughter likes the pancakes.

Only complaint was a bright light shining in the window at night which curtains couldn’t fully contain.

Pool hours were long, so we could enjoy it after a lot of driving. It included a slide and a working jacuzzi. Washer & dryer available on each floor for free. They had a great breakfast selection.

*Breakfast was good, with yoghurt available and a few cereals. Pancakes and french toast as well and some fresh fruit. *Lovely staff keen to please. *Convenient on and off the freeway but NOT noisy at all. *Large rooms! *Excellent well-maintained airconditioner/heating unit that was not noisy.

*Lack of any blankets apart from a thin bedspread. Froze the first night. Happy to receive two blankets from the front desk on the second night--excellent. Recommend that the hotel put at least one in the closet so guests don't have a bad night. *Lumpy marginal pillows and a "fair" bed with some unevenness where depressions had been made over the years. *Virtually no reliable WIFI on nights when the hotel was full (according to the front desk). Could log on briefly at best, then got knocked off the service and the La Quinta server would not show up at all. It was very frustrating. **THIS** issue should be remedied right away.
