Nice big room, very clean, updated fixtures, the bathroom had an exhaust fan, as well as an optional night light in it & there were plenty of clean towels. Main lobby nicely decorated & inviting appearance. They offer free breakfast sandwiches & coffee 6am-9am in the lobby..

Took a several minutes for desk clerk to come down to meet us after the "ring" notification we made from inside the lobby so we could get checked in at 4:15pm on a Saturday afternoon. The room didn't offer these amenities: hair dryer, iron or ironing board.

Extremely clean and very comfortable room for an overnight stay on my way through Nebraska. I felt safe and secure here. Easy to find, very friendly manager/owner, would recommend if you're passing through Franklin. Good recommendation for a local burger place, the Tipsy Cow, was appreciated as the food was delicious.

Not much to pick from for breakfast, but not a deal breaker. Not much going on in Franklin, but again, I was just passing through...it's not a destination.

Older location but cute decor and looked/felt very clean. Staff accommodated us for late check in which was quick and simple. No breakfast but still a good value as there is limited accommodations in the area. Quiet and comfortable place to rest from our roadtrip. Exceptional staff that went above and beyond when my husband accidentally left behind his laptop computer.

No breakfast but still a good stay

This was the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. Actually, the room, including the bath, was spotless. Even their parking lot was super clean! And, it was very spacious and very comfortable. All other motels/hotels could take a lesson from the Drop Tyne in how to care for their properties. Exceptional.

Not a thing!!

The staff is awesome!! Friendly and professional. Rooms newly renovated and very pretty. The town is small but has a few good to great eateries. The Black Powder Bar and Grill is very close by with awesome food!

Pet walk area is a bit limited and very dark

The 50s-styled motor court means you park at your room, not somewhere in the distance. Parking is ample, no dings. The room had been prepared by someone who was meticulous, very clean, attractive, comfortable, suite-spacious. The host couple are a farm family now establishing a hunting lodge. This is trophy whitetail country. But that doesn't mean they focus exclusively on hunting. Women traveling solo will be perfectly safe and accommodated here. I especially appreciated the farm couple's diligent attention to providing very customer with restful sanctuary. The price is right for budget travelers.

We enjoyed the clean, spacious rooms for a good night's sleep while visiting family in Franklin. The owners/managers were friendly and helpful. We love their dog!

This hotel was the cleanest one we have ever stayed in, both inside and outside.

Ask for REAL pillows. The ones on the bed were decorative - not something we would sleep on.

Great location for visiting the whole area, easy drives to Red Cloud and to the nearby lake. The room was spotless and the owners were great. Big parking spaces. Quiet. Just what you would hope for.
