travel distance. price was reasonable. Friendly staff and quick waitresses on the casino floor. Maybe $5 tables in the afternoons could be made available. All the dealers I interacted with were great.

The Horseshu side desperately needs updating. No channel list in the room so had to create my own only to realize the channels provided were not a good selection and no movie channels available. More food options during the day would be nice. A grab and go or premade sandwiches and snacks. No wifi at the horseshu. More tables and less slots. lots of waiting for a seat at crowded tables while slots sat vacant.

Easy to find hotel, right next to the main highway. We were put up in an older building and said they were full up, except we maybe saw one person there. It was quiet and beds comfortable.

The folks at the desk put us in rooms way away from each other. In other words, I stayed in a room with my mother and my brother was in another room in a totally different building. Not sure why they couldn't put us in rooms closer together, as there seemed to be plenty of rooms in the hotel buildings. Most people were staying in the building right next to the casino, yet we were put up in two different rooms in totally different buildings across the highway from the main hotel and casino. It was very inconvenient, especially since mother is nearly 91 years old so that was challenging for her to walk so far.

I love visiting Cactus Pete's! The table dealers and other staff are always so friendly and the ros are big but cozy. Its the perfect little vacation away from boise!

There seemed to be splatters of something on our mirror and only 1 washcloth in our room. I would suggest putting a microwave in each room,.seems to be only 1 by the front desk which was quite inconvenient. Had to take a small adventure to use when needed.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. I was given a room close to the elevator so I didn't have to walk long distances. Both my wife and I have leg issues. So, this was a plus.

For having a room in a non-smoking are, we could still smell cigarette smoke at times. We also, came upon a lady whose was smoking in the elevator. This was the first time in a while that the room did not have a microwave. Found this odd. Could have used a hand bar or rail in the shower. Just a thought.

Desert Room (restaurant) had alright food, a little bland but not the worst thing we ate on our trip. The slots were fun to play, and after about an hour of playing, a cocktail waitress finally made her way over for drinks.

The room had an old smell to it. Reminded us of grandma's attic, a little musty, and a little like moth balls. We would have appreciated having a fan in the bathroom for showers and having a couple of extra pillows. There was one per person and all other hotels we stayed at had 2 pillows per person. There were also no extra blankets in the room and the AC was blasting when we arrived. It was 26° and snowing outside... :-\

I loved the room. It was big and nicely decorated. Bed was comfy. All the staff members from check-in to the casino area were very friendly and helpful. Perfect place for us to stop between our travels from South Lake Tahoe to Yellowstone National Park. I even won a hand pay in the casino, so that was a huge plus!

The room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. I felt the prices were too high for the only coffee shop available to eat at - $20 for a hamburger! The slots are tight but I already figured that would be the way since it is such a remote area. Free soda and coffee machines are always a plus. Pool area relaxing and lots of areas to kick back at and read a book. I will be back, just not for the food.

Bed was comfortable, and spacious. Linens were nice.

It would have been nice to know that our room would not get daily service. Fresh towels, water and coffee at the very least and dirty towels and garbage picked up would have been great. Hotel rooms tend to get smaller with luggage, garbage and dirty linen.

The room is not located in the same building as the casino. The room is very quiet and nice and beautiful!

Nothing. For this price, I was not expecting a breakfast and there was no breakfast. There was no microwaves or fridges either.

It was clean and quiet.

We stayed at the horseshoe, that’s across the street from the actual resort, there for, if we needed something, we’d have to go there to get it, didn’t need anything so no big deal, just pay attention to what you’re booking if this is a problem.
