The location and the views were great. The room was nice a little dated but the beds were very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in staff made our check-in process smooth. The breakfast staff were friendly and made you feel at home. The food was great. The homemade omelets and salsa were delicious. The made-to-order omelets, eggs, various juices, and great-tasting coffee were a treat. The bar staff were friendly and the drinks offered were delicious. This is our second stay, last year and this year. We will be back. I would highly recommend this hotel. This hotel provides 5-star service.

The room was a little warm better AC would be great. I carry a portable fan so that helped. It would be nice to have more USB plugs for electronics.

This is a beautiful resort, and our room was great! The team working here is AMAZING! Although it's large, it's very clean and quiet. The rooms have fireplaces, and balconies with beautiful views. The beds are incredibly cozy, and there's plenty of seating throughout the room, so relaxation is a guarantee! Our room had a spa tub, and all faucets had good water pressure. Little things like having an automatic icemaker in the fridge really go a long way with taking care of guests' needs! The complimentary breakfast is out of this world! Omelets are made to order, and there are plenty of traditional favorites, in addition local flavors. The bar even serves pizza and wings in the afternoon. This place has thought of everything! Special shout out to Brianna for being so friendly, and making check-in a breeze. She made us feel very welcome! We had such a lovely stay, and can't wait to come back!

Our only issue was the toilet. The base was loose, and we had some trouble flushing. It's very important to say that the staff was absolutely wonderful about addressing this concern. No facility can be 100% perfect all the time. How you handle issues is more important than anything, and this staff does it right! We'd definitely stay here again!

We had some issues with our room, first the toilet handle was broken, then the tub was not draining. The staff took care of it in a timely manner, though no one wants restroom issues. The thing I disliked the most was that our room was not cleaned unless we wrote on a comment card in our room what we wanted them to clean, did not figure that out till second day, as I had never experienced that ever. Every where I have stayed housekeeping makes beds and cleans room every day unless told not to.

Breakfast, very delicious and the bar knew how to make a perfect old fashion. Location perfect near everything.

The Jacuzzi needs maintenance, not all jets working. We had one and it was weak.. I'm weak and sick from chemotherapy and needed the disability chair for the jacuzzi and you don't have them. My husband had to help me in and out. For the amount of money charged per night I think hotel should invest in new pillows because they stink bad. Hard to sleep on them. We had to go buy pillows and pillow cases. Managers should law down on the beds to see how bad they smell. You need hand bars in bath tubs to get in and out. Think of people with disabilities, elders who need it. Cater to all when it comes to safety please.

Location and view are tops. Free roaming elk and horses are fun to watch. If you golf (we don't), this is the place for you. Access to walking trails, dog park, tennis and pickle ball courts, and Ruidoso convention center is great! Hotel pool, hot tub and fitness room are nice. But the absolute best is the breakfast! You can get eggs cooked to order and choose from a great selection of foods from the breakfast bar. Staff was super friendly (even at 6:30 AM). Can't wait to return for another vacay.

WIFI is not secure and iffy, but that is probably more of a geographical problem.

Breakfast was very good, but not great. The kitchen area was nice, but I would have been glad for at least one set of utensils and a place setting. The upstairs hallway was much too warm.

It was all okay. There were specks of blood stains on the comforter cover. I suspect from a nose bleed. They were quite small and had been through the laundry. The room was also very hot when I arrived.

Excellent made to order breakfast or a buffet with extensive options included in price. The lobby was beautiful and relaxing. Golf course view was nice and had a walking path. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room and pool area were very clean.

The room was a bit too small for 2 queen size beds with only about 1 foot between the bed and the closet. Made it difficult to use the closet. With only a 1 night stay it wasnt much of a concern for us. Guests attending the convention next door overwhelmed the lobby in the evening.

The property is beautiful, set in the mountains this was like an all inclusive resort. Hands down, best complimentary breakfast I've had. Cooked to order omelettes, not to mention HOMEMADE posole and Red Chile. Elk crossing the fields while sitting by the fireplace, and the sun setting does not get any better.

Jets in the hot tub could be higher, and the rooms are a little dated. But all in all I enjoyed our stay. We were not able to attend the horse races nearby due to new owners which was really a bummer, as this was the reason for our trip. BUT the hotel made up for this with their exceptional and friendly staff. THANK YOU!!

The location was wonderful and the ground were beautiful!

The room did not feel clean and it felt dingy and not taken care of. Complete opposite from the lobby area. Was had scratch paint where it looks like furniture once was. Fireplace was chipping, rust in freezer, ice tray dirty, coffee machine dirty, inside of nightstand dirty, card that spoke about cleaning of room, was written on and dirty, no soap in shower, lotion bottle dirty on outside and looked used. Sunday staff seemed not interested in helping. When we called downstairs for laundry bag, we were told to come down stairs and get one. At that moment, we had 3 housekeeper on the part of our floor that we could see from our door. So I went and asked them. Dinning table was dirty from breakfast.

Great stay! My family loved every minute of the pool, grounds, dining area, and of course the breakfast!!

The only complaint is the area around pool is very slippery when wet, and we saw several falls and many almost fell. The tiles around need to be replaced, cleaned, or mats put down. Otherwise, the cleanliness of the pool/hot tub - amazing!
