Be aware: The 24/7 Penny's Diner next door is currently open only from 6 AM - 10 PM. The motel check-in desk is currently at the diner and they are not accepting motel guests who do not have reservations.

The food was very good. They were having trouble with the credit card machine. That's all I had so they gave us the food free of charge.

I didn't like that we had to have a room upstairs and no elevator. My husband has trouble climbing stairs. They could not accommodate our request for the bottom floor even though we asked a couple weeks prior to stay.

Lots of railroad workers on site. It is a major junction for the RR. No issues, just not prepared for that many RR workers.

The room had all the basics and was quiet and clean.

Management didn’t always wear masks although signs said they were required. They weren’t knowledgeable about the property. Food at the diner associated with the motel was very poor quality.

The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of towels. The heater and air conditioning unit worked very well, the temperature was consistent and comfortable.

It took 40 minutes to check in, and I had a reservation. I feel it is inconvenient that the office is in another building. When I called the office the line was always busy. The fire alarm went off at 2:40 AM, no explanation was given why it went off. I was disappointed that there was not a coffee pot in the room, when the website advertised there would be one. The room key did not always work, and when I went to get it fixed, I had to wait for Diner customers to pay for their meal before I was helped. It would be helpful if there was a person just for the Travel Lodge. It appeared to me the person working was responsible for the hotel as well as working the diner.

Room type we had requested and reserved was not available when we arrived. We booked a king size bed and ended up finally getting a room with two beds.

it was clean and a good place to sleep

the staff is very short handed. the wife and husband who basically run it were great. but the lady that work the desk at night was not helpful at all, our toilet stopped up and she said couldn’t leave the desk and furthermore acted like she really didn’t care. and I’ll just leave it at that.
