We were new visitors to ND just to see some of the landscape. We drove up from Rapid City. The Inn was the perfect respite for our night. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful recommending what we should see in town and a place for dinner. The question above about the lighting was not a surprise because the rooms really do need a ceiling light to make it homier and brighter. Everything else was fine, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Breakfast was fine, but not stellar. We were there at a slow time, so it really didn't make sense to fix a big breakfast buffet that wouldn't be eaten. We held no ill-will to the breakfast. It got us going and kept us until noon.

Nothing fancy or fussy about the Bowman Inn, but the character of this place is true Great Plains rural hospitality, helpful, cheerful, efficient. The inn has a young energetic staff. They serve with punctilious care, seeking to make your visit pleasant, restful, satisfying. The value here is in the basics, a clean room, a diligent host, and non nonsense service.

At 80 years old, I really liked that there was a secondary entrance/exit and I was able to park my vehicle very close.

Access to the parking was a little tight. Would not recommend for anyone pulling a trailer of any size. The one thing I would recommend is that a more prominent sign for the Inn. Even though I had an exact GPS, I still had a problem finding the facility.

The lady at the front desk was very polite. They didn't have cleaning people one day so she was performing that task and running the front desk. She did a very well job and still treated people with respect.

The carpet could be cleaned. The shower curtain was dirty. Other than that it was OK.

Very clean and friendly! The front desk lady called to make sure I was still going to make it that night as their office normally closes at 10:00 p.m. and she wanted to know if she needed to stay. The room was nice and cold with the AC blasting when I got to my room, a welcome change from the hot summer day. Nice variety of hot and cold breakfast items.

Location and hotel were fine. Clean and staff was friendly.

Parking is too limited in the space. Close quarters to move in and out.

We had a huge room that was clean and quiet. The breakfast had several options so no need to leave hungry. The staff were friendly.

Dee was very friendly and helpful. Charlie was super cute. The room was very clean and a great price.

The toilet died to be fixed l. It kept flushing because water leaks into the bowl.

Very limited breakfast offerings with limited seating. Lobby and hallways in need of uodating.

The property was very comfortable and perfect for our visit to hike White Butte.

There was a little noise from trucks passing on the road.
