Shoutout to Chris and family, they were wonderful and communicative. Chris provided me with a map of the nearby waterfalls. Easy parking right in front of your room. Everything was clean. They offer a light breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, toast, and English muffins. Coffee, tea, and a soda fountain machine available (appreciated!) Several nearby restaurant options (Lupita’s was good, as was the Caesar salad at Ponderosa Public House). 35-40ish minute drive to Crater Lake north rim. This is the closest you’re going to stay to Crater Lake, without camping or staying at the park lodge. Spent a full day at Crater Lake and watched the beautiful sunset. My basic criteria is safe, clean, and functional. This motel met that criteria, plus having very attentive management. Would stay here again if visiting the Crater Lake area. Thanks again, Chris!

I’m noise-sensitive, so I bring earplugs with me wherever I go. Yes, it’s on the highway. But with earplugs, it wasn’t an issue. People cite the cost. Well, again, it’s the closest you can get to Crater Lake, without actually staying inside the park. Hence the price. You know this when you book. This is a small town, so there is no Marriott, Westin, Ritz, etc. I don’t know what people expect… the WiFi did not work very well, and there was overall poor cell signal (again, rural area). However, there was full cable TV available.

The owner was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. He went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our accommodations and even offered us a cabin that was available but we chose the room. I thought it was fun that he had a full size airplane and fire engine over off to the side of the property. That makes it a much more interesting stay for kids (and adults). This is about as close as you can get to staying at Crater Lake if you were not able to get accommodations inside the park. I loved the green and the trees all around. The A-frame cabins on the property were cozy looking too.

It is one of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed at. No noise from adjoining rooms or noise from other guests closing the doors to their rooms and the air conditioner has a Quite setting that works very well. Another guest who was checking out commented that it had been the best nights sleep in a long time. Coffee in the morning that was very good and toast and bagels and instant oatmeal. It was more than enough to hold my wife and I until lunchtime. Plenty of space in the room for my wife and I and our luggage. Fairly fast WiFi connection from our room. Christopher, the manager is super friendly and very helpful. l

My sister and I visited Crater Lake and stayed in this comfortable, rustic inn overnight. The accommodations were modest but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and Chris, the proprietor, was friendly and very helpful. Great communication. I will still stay here again.

There was an issue with the water pressure in the kitchenette, but otherwise, no complaints.

The room was spotless and in an excellent state of repair. I had certain expectations for the room considering it’s essentially a roadside motel. I was so happy to be proven wrong. Also, the employee at the front desk was so friendly and nice. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this property!

Great location, the nostalgic vibe, and the owner/manager (Chris) is dedicated, helpful, and friendly. Very peaceful stop on the way to Crater Lake, they give you a nice little breakfast to get you going.

There's nothing negative about this place.

The front desk host was super friendly and gave us an upgrade at no extra charge. There is a small breakfast available (coffee, bagels, muffins) which we did not expect so this was a nice add on since restaurants in that area are very limited.

It can be noisy due to trains and streets - but the whole town is just along that street do nothing you can change if you need some accommodation close to crater lake.

We had to find the accommodation we needed. Eagle Crater Lake Inn When we visited the Eagle Crater Lake Inn, Christopher was friendly and showed us a suitable room. The room was newly renovated, clean and warm. We sisters stayed there for one night and had a worry-free time until morning.

They have taken previous reviews seriously - we had a newly renovated room, everything was super clean and in good shape. The complimentary breakfast is simple but good with decent bread and oatmeal choices.

The wifi is atrocious but thankfully there is a decent 5G signal.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The coffee was very good and so was the oatmeal. They also had beagles and English muffins and toast. Cream cheese and jam. Very nice breakfast selection.

It was a good location. Close to the road. Headed off to our next location with no trouble.
