Love the boutique style! Very nice staff
The stares I was getting. I can tell not many people like me come to stay at this property.

I received a $5,00 voucher for the Buttercup Bistro which is a couple of short blocks from the hotel. The food was good and the service was even better.
If the hotel owns the bar I would recommend management remind the bartenders and wait staff that since they work for tips they may do much better if they put their smartphones down and interact with ALL the customers, not just the regulars.

Vintage … It’s such a beautiful property and the fact that I buy and repurpose old buildings add and extra treat. I just love what y’all have done with the hotel.
There isn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property. The only thing that I can say I be sure to double check your trash cans in the rooms. One of ours had not been emptied. Other than that 10/10.

Quiet, clean, with friendly staff and unique furnishings and displays in a historic setting. There were few places to go on a Sunday night, but it was a perfect stop on the way to view the eclipse.
Not a dislike, but there was no breakfast as advertised. They provided a $5 gift certificate to a very nice coffee shop less than a block away which we used.

I liked the historical feel of the hotel. I like that it had restaurant/ bar. It was very clean and quite nice.
The room felt a bit humid unless you put the ac down to really cold. The restaurant closed earlier than the bar. On the site the business hours makes you believe restaurant is open as late as the bar. I was not put in the room that I had booked. I was on the 2nd floor which clearly is not a disability room.

There was a problem with our booking but the desk manager gave us an available room while he checked into the problem. Could not have been more helpful or considerate.
The beds in our room were very high and hard for 2 short 70 somethings to access, but we managed!

Was not real impressed with the breakfast situation. The first morning (Saturday) we were given two vouchers for $4,00 each to go over one block to the Buttercup Bistro, which was not bad. As for breakfast on Sunday and Monday the Bistro was not open so there was no breakfast unless you wanted to go to McDonalds or Wendy's in Fulton.
Just the breakfast, the advertisement we had seen said that breakfast was included.

The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful. The rooms are nice. I feel like a either more cushioned carpet or wood-like flooring would take it over the top. The beds and pillows! THEY ARE AWESOME. We had gotten in super late and the beds were so comfy we fell asleep instantly. I looked for the tag so I could order the mattress lol. The rooms were clean a little staining on the curtains but not noticeable. Didn’t get to see the restaurant, they are closed on Sunday. We didn’t interact with the staff much, but when we did they were super friendly. When booking online, the room we had booked was actually not available. We were given a room though that was still great. The price also ended up being cheaper when we checked in.
There were a few stains on the curtain. The carpet is super thin and not the comfiest when walking. It would have been nice if the restaurant was open on Sunday.

Beautiful restored hotel with rich history. Directly across from the new Joann's store, so very convenient. The town was very nice, everywhere we ate was wonderful.
