It was close to a lot of geological sites for rockhounding , I have a rockhounding YouTube channel (HuntingRocks) so Delta puts me into the heart of some of the best rock and mineral collecting spots in Utah

The room was a little pricer than it should have been , the whole town of Delta is expensive though due to the building of a power plant near by, all the motels know they can charge higher prices because the companies working on the power plant will pay them for their employees. This of course effects those who do not work for the power plant or the companies providing service to the plant

The front desk clerk was in the room during breakfast. It was obvious my husband and I were struggling with the waffle maker, but he ignored us. We were the only people in the small space. After a while I asked him about it, he mumbled that it needed 30 to warm up. Seems that he could have plugged it in when he opened up. My husband plugged it in when we got there several minutes after the breakfast hour began. The first ice machine did not work. I needed to return to my room to look at the map for another.

Written instructions on how to use the taps are needed. They require pulling out with considerable force before turning. Since I didn't want to break anything, I did not think to use such force to pull out the tap, since I could not be sure that pulling was an option. No hot or cold indicator on the tap. I thought the water supply was cut off and had to ask the office manager for instructions. He seemed to think it strange that I had to ask.

Location was convenient. Easy to find

Parking was not friendly for those pulling trailers( most of people staying for an event. We’re told we should park in an adjacent lg. MUDDY field. We’d have gotten stuck and exceptionally dirty. Also the toilets were exceptionally low and difficult. I had requested handicapped accessible and this was bad. Several friends also complained about this.

The room was large and it was cool, it had all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was surprisingly good as often in this type of setting it can be a little sub standard but there was a good choice of healthy options and great coffee. Pool looked nice but sadly didn’t have time to try.

The room decor was tired, the paint colour was lurid and the bathroom door was hanging off slightly. But overall these issues didn’t detract from a good roadside stay.

The room was clean and pretty comfortable. We got down to breakfast about 8:30 and there only 2 small muffins and 2 pieces of bread left. Cold cereal. The guy at the desk when we registered was very nice. He changed my payment from credit card to cash without complaining. Good overall stay

Breakfast was less than desirable.

The bed was comfortable. Room was quiet, except for some fireworks going off for the 4th of July (which would be happening pretty much everywhere). There were TWO suitcase stands, which I really appreciate. Refrigerator and Microwave were clean. The room wasn't super new, which is fine with us. Staff was very nice. Our key didn't work, and the replacement didn't work so the attendant gave us a different room. We didn't use the pool but it looked spotless.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. The only thing that may not have seemed clean were parts of the bathroom, but that may have been stains. Room could have been brighter.

The bed at this Days Inn was the best bed in our entire two week driving trip around the west. The room was a good size, and the person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The ice machine worked well - believe me, this is not always the case

The breakfast was meager - a half loaf of raisin bread and some muffins were the only bread-like items. The rest was pretty minimal also. The AC next door to us made a high pitched sound, so we had to run our fan all night.

it was OK. I would’ve enjoyed some eggs or meat, however

there were no extra blankets for the rooms. There was no baby. Pack and play available.

Location

Rooms are starting to get a little outdated and run down. Not much for breakfast options and the dairy products were warm and expired.
