We were traveling with our disabled son who uses a wheelchair and required a roll in shower. The Scenic View Inn has several fully wheelchair accessible rooms, good ADA parking with sufficient numbers of spaces. We were also pulling a small trailer so we needed a facility with ample parking. There was plenty of spaces available to drop the trailer even when the hotel was at or near capacity. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Scenic View is located a couple of miles south of town making for a quieter stay away from chaos of downtown Moab while still making all of the restaurants and services easily accessible. Its a great choice for families or those wanting a relaxed, hassle free stay while accessing all the canyonlands have to offer.

We were content with our stay and plan to book there again.

Location was out of town and could have been an issue as we were driving a large truck and would not have been able to park in town. However, there is a very good transit service provided by the town itself called Moab Transit. It is easily accessible via an app. and is FREE. It only operates to around 21.00hrs but was perfect for us. Out of town location proved to be a good thing, as the town was really quite crazy. Lots of people and a really enjoyable atmosphere, but nice to return to quiet hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful (the very nice girl at the front desk told us all about the transit). Breakfast was not very inspiring, with the usual sausage, bacon and some odd kind of omlette extended with corn and filled with cheese.....we think. Toast, jam. Banana, apple, cereal. Plenty of it though. Nice touch was that hot water, coffee etc. was available at all times. The room was very nice. Beds were comfortable as were the tiny pillows. Bedding all clean. Coffee maker but no provision for tea. We worked with our own tea bags and the microwave. Fridge clean and worked well. Bathroom very clean, open and good lighting. Very roomy shower (no bath tub ). Now I come to a negative. I ran the shower for perhaps almost a minute until it was warm and stepped in. I almost went flat on my backside as the base of the shower was like a skating rink. Holding the door, I was very careful to stand still and after another minute or two the slipperiness had washed off. I can only deduce that either the shower had dried cleaning agent on it or it was dried shower gel/shampoo left over from a previous client ( these are supplied in the shower by the hotel) My friend has mobility issues and had it been she who stepped in the shower it may have caused a bad fall. Water pressure not great but otherwise a very nice shower. All in all a good choice to stay in Moab.

The hotel's use of plastic knives/forks/spoons. Plastic by the ton. Quite disgraceful and I am certain this practice is of value perhaps to conserve water, employ less staff for washing dishes but it is terrible for the environment. Management states the hotel has environmental policies. Please reconsider the use of so much throw-away stuff.

I stayed at the Scenic View Inn for 5 nights in Nov/2024 to visit Arches and Dead Horse Point. I have previously stayed at the Archway Inn and Best Western but was looking for something cheaper. This hotel is a few miles south of town, but the few extra minutes in the car were worth it to save some money. Hotel is new, clean and comfortable. Stayed in Room #323. Beds were nice and soft, and I slept great. Heat and A/C worked like they should. The breakfast was fine (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy). Nothing special, but it was hearty. This hotel is a good value. I would stay here again.

Two minor quibbles: Housekeeping only came by every 2nd day. The "Guide" feature on the TV didn't work (probably a cable provider issue rather than the hotel's fault).

Very comfortable room (large king bed, modern bathroom, dimmable lights, silent nights). Great location (close to Arches National Park and other hiking areas). Breakfast with plenty of tasty food, although eating space could have been larger (better to go early in the morning). Free parking. Elevators to higher floors available. Very friendly staff that helped us change the room type from 2 Queen to 1 King.

Some amenities did not work: mikrowave broken, pool was closed, bathroom door not fully closing (note: toilet and shower had a second, separate door working well). But these were only minor inconveniences

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices, well prepared. Location was a bit far out but not an issue, easy to get out and about. Liked clean, well maintained, modern. Did not have extra frills and foo foo decorations and materials, appreciated decent quality, attractive finishes, but not the extra "luxury" stuff other places charge for but that makes no difference in your stay, and will charge for the "feature comforts". I just want a decent clean room, basic amenities, and some breakfast before i move on. Scenic view fit the bill perfectly. Many thanks

Can't think of a thing...

If you are in Moab, do not look further to stay. This hotel provides excellent value and the staff is absolutely amazing. Nitin and Paresh are not only great managers, they give you a patient ear. Breakfast is outstanding. There is seating outside which adds to the delight. Rooms are amazing size and spotless. My assessment compares to my travel across the continental US as well as Europe.

There is nothing NOT to like. Moab is all about Arches park hikes. Therefore SPA facilities could be improved upon for the weary hikers. If the outside seating area can be expanded, there is nothing like having breakfast in crisp air. This is a gorgeous facility.

We were there to visit Canyonlands and The Arches and the hotel location was fairly close by. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts changed up a bit over the 3 days we were there so we appreciated that. Although, not in the middle of town, we could get around easily enough and were glad that we were not directly in the middle of a very busy little town that has a vacation vibe. The manager recommended 4 restaurants. We went to 3 and all were great! We would stay again.

We were happy with everything.

I'm actually surprised how a place can be so affordable in this day and age. We had one night without a place to stay, and last minute booked this room late at night. Checked in about 15 minutes after booking and check in was so smooth, a nice young girl at the counter was professional and kind. Easy peasy. Our room was clean and exactly what we needed. Breakfast was hot and better than many budget places, and they even had food out after the official breakfast end time, which was nice to grab a coffee to go on our way out.

I'm sure you could find something to complain about if you are looking for it, this is not a 5 star resort but closer to a motel. I've read about noise, but yeah of course because the doors are open air, like a motel set up, but we were next to the maintenance room and were not disturbed. I didn't encounter any of the negative things mentioned in the previous reviews. I compared it to about 5-10 similarly priced properties in the area and I am happy we chose this one.

Staff at the hotel were great. Special mention to Nithin on front desk who helped me out a lot with phone calls to another hotel where I had left property. He went out of his way to help me with nothing else expected in return. He felt like a true asset to a hotel like this. The hotel was new, modern, well appointed and it was really lovely to stay there. The rooms were the same - felt really clean and a little more luxurious than your average chain hotel room. Breakfast options were, on the whole, good as well

It would be great to start seeing some healthy options at breakfast at hotel chains like these. Coffee, waffles, cereal, eggs and bacon are not varied options. Some fresh fruit, natural yoghurt would be great to see.

The room was clean and well put together with modern facilities. The staff at the front desk was courteous. The bed was fairly comfortable. Not astoundingly luxurious, but a good value and the proximity to the two national parks was great. The continental breakfast included with the room price was delicious and had numerous options.

Occasionally you could hear muffled voices next door and there's some construction happening behind the hotel, but it wasn't disruptive/noisy during the night. Overall very pleased with the value of this stay.
