Apart from what I mentioned below since we came during the low season it was quiet location is good price for the quality is okay but don't expect much more than that. I would say it worth it if you are not looking for luxury, exceptional service and you're looking for silence and peace.

The only problem but this applies to most of the hotels in Vietnam is not all the hotels is the language barrier I only speak English Chinese and French and yet in Vietnam It's never enough. If de subject of your quarrel is out of the usual that they encounter then mostly they're going to help you because they cannot understand what you are looking for. I don't know if I should put this in the I didn't like this but I still wish to say it so foreigners and people who don't speak Vietnamese should know what to expect.

location and the staff

The mattress needs a serious upgrade. way past best before date. Our spine can feel the spring with every tiny movement. I have noticed other reviews mentioned about some bugs at the facility. not sure if it's because of the grass or the weather but some mosquito size green bugs BEWARE won't make you sick but definitely leaves you bug bites with bump and non stop itchiness. Not sure the hotel management can do anything about it.

The location and the large villa feel of the accommodation was great...there aren't many beachfront options and the others don't have the boutique villa feel....we initially booked 4 nights which I commented on and then extended for another 6 nights...so the stay was great...Phung on receptions was EXCELLENT...nothing was a problem for her and the other team. It was about 50 steps away from the Bar 200 with great meal and drink options and a small pathway to lay on the beach or have drink watching the water in the bean bags on the beach! Free pick up from/to airport. Bar and restaurant with variety of food and drinks. Beautiful beach with clear water. Friendly staff.

Staff doesn't speak English. Of course I understand we are guests in Viet Nam but their life would be more easy with guests. Rooms dated but I expected it and for 1 night didn't need anything better. Only one bad thing happened. When I came back to Saigon where I currently live I realized I forgot my top of bikini. I immediately (less then 24h later) contacted with reception gave exact location. My friends were still there so they could pick it up for me. The staff said there was nothing there. It's sad. Someone just took it.

Price-performace is OK. Please consider that Con Dao is a very small island where most of the people live from tourism. You cannot compare with main land 1-to-1. The location and the site is really awesome: staff is very friedly and helpful, beach and ocean for swimming, silent all times. Room and equipment match description and pictures.

Room incl bathroom would need renovation, the equipment needs a renewal.

there might be differences in the quality of the rooms - hence the diverse reviews on booking.com. we loved our sea view room but at the end we saw another room that went for the same price as ours and was older and without the view.

Such friendly attentive staff. They even went to the extent of providing us vegetarian breakfast. Their bar has good drink & food choices. The hotel is located beachfront which was so convenient to swim whenever. Its not brand new but they do their best to try and maintain it. I hope the economy and tourism picks up again for this place.

Boaters that dock at the bay seem to just offload trash with no consideration. So much plastic wastes washes ashore and it is not a one person job to help pick up the waste. Its sad to see them trash such a Beautiful place.

The room looked out to the sea which was a few steps away and was gorgeous. Great A/C and fan and wonderful staff and the most beautiful chrystal clear ocean and beautiful coconut trees all around

The bathroom shower needed the brackets fixing as did the bathroom tap

The location was fabulous, right on the beach. The food at the 200 bar was really great. The staff were fabulous, very helpful. They had motor scooters to rent. The hotel also picked us up and took us to the airport.

There could be at least 1 bedside table in the rooms for convenience. The rooms were not made up daily unless we asked.

Amazing location, beach front and also near the main streets of Con Dao. They offer free transfer to the airport, what is very convenient. The restaurant has good food options. Wifi worked well both in the room and common areas.And they also rent scooters

The place is not very well maintained and the furniture needs some improvement. Also the breakfast is very basic. But these were minor things for us and compensated by the beach front peace
