The staff is super. Helpful. Friendly and informative. We had a 4am ferry arrival and a midnight ferry departure they accommodated both with personal service. Our departure was 3 days after we had checked out to go up to Eckero and they still welcomed us back stored our bags for 12 hours gratis. It’s a big hotel nice room with a view of the marina. Central location. WiFi was medium strength. Cell signal was 3 bars. Plenty of electrical outlets. Plumbing was modern and well kept. Patio was a plus. Breakfast was large and abundantly stocked. No custom eggs though. Dining room was always near full and the staff kept up with demand. Past reviews had mentioned noise from a disco/casino but we did not encounter that issue and I think the casino is closed.

Plenty of secure card access points. In fact it became slightly obnoxious since Aland seems to have little or no crime.

The hotel is in the heart of Mariehamn, bed was comfortable and the room was very nice and loved the color in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and morning staff was very friendly to. I loved that I could watch netflix in the evening and. I also like that the rooms have balcony

It's not a bad thing but a little miss communication maybe, the breakfast was at floor 2, and there is a elevator that goes to floor 2 BUT you have to take the elevator to floor 1 then go up the stairs to the breakfast. But as I said, not a bad thing and I have nothing bad to say. ♥️

Breakfast was amazing and probably 9/10ths of the reason you should book here, too. The spread was incredible with the usual suspects: scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurts, bread station and coffee/tea. In addition they had various local fish including smoked fish (2 types), herring (3 types), fish roe (two types), local cheeses, and local fruits. It was phenomenal. They also have a left luggage facility which is secure.

That we didn’t stay longer.

Great location, breakfast was really good, the room was spacious and especially the bathroom was large. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but heard it was really good. We were there during off season and noise from outside was not an issue, even though there was an AC/DC tribute concert next door.

There were two single beds for our stay so it was not so comfortable to sleep as a couple (we pushed them together but there was a gap). Breakfast was average, not much warm options and things run out fast

Great breakfast buffet. Hotel built originally in 1970's, renovated, different rooms somewhat different style, all very clean. Air conditioning unit in room. Hotel staff approached in English, language skills variable (some did not speak Swedish, most did not speak Finnish). Service in Finnish style, brief but belpful and polite, no tipping expectations of course. Location next to sea in the centre, you can walk everywhere. Biking recommended, have loaners, rentals near.

Good breakfast and our toddler loved the play room and the heated pools.

There are rooms that face a very loud restaurant or bar with live music. We haven't had any issues before, but this year we were unlucky with the room location.

The hotel is refurbishing the rooms and we still had a bit an outdated one. Seaview is nice but you look also at the roof of the ground floor and that looks a bit old and done

The breakfast provides lots of healthy and tasty selections. The staffs were so helpful and listening

There was a live music on Friday nights. I could barely sleep due to the sound.

We got an unexpected lovely welcome gift for our pet - chewing sticks, she also got a doggy bed and a drinking bowl. Our room had lots of mirrors, a beautiful view of the sea, a balcony, comfy beds, a coffee service, two armchairs, a working desk. The bathroom had a shower AND a bathtub. We got to use the pool and sauna, very clean. Breakfast was good, fruits, juices, breads, cheeses, a choice of eggs, nice! There is a bar with two pool tables in the same building. We went there with my 12 year old son, they even make non-alcoholic cocktails for kids. The hotel has a perfect location for sight seeing, we walked to 3 museums, a waterpark, harbour, and an open air zoo.

Not cheap, but totally worth it.
