Excellent location in the thick of things, in easy walking distance from the attractions of the old town in one direction and, in the other, from the Cirta Museum and a street (Abane Ramdane) with lots of restaurants and shops. Reasonable breakfast buffet (not included in the room price, but available for a not unreasonable 1400 dinars). One very helpful member of staff booked us a Yassir taxi to go to Timgad and the Roman hammam near Khenchela.

Given that this is part of an international chain and had quite a swish reception area, the actual room was quite small and pokey, and the beds were not amazingly comfortable. Bathroom was a bit cramped too. Wi-fi kept cutting out. Some staff on reception were sometimes a bit slow to attend to us (though as noted above, others were helpful).

Minuses: It is a little worn around the edges in places but no big deal in all honesty Breakfast is ok. Could be better but the standard and choice is typical for Algeria. Basically there is enough to fill you up for the day so it's good enough

Centrally located large, newer hotel. The quiet room facing the mountains is large and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Bar with alcohol in the neighboring Novotel. There is also a restaurant there (although completely overpriced). All in all, the best IBIS I've ever been to.

The room lighting for reading could be better. The lobby and breakfast room are very cool. The breakfast could be more extensive in terms of cheese, other dairy products and fruit. The bread is a disgrace, has nothing to do with bon pain croustillant like in France. The coffee tastes mediocre. The undercooked scrambled eggs from the brick are a disgrace and only edible once they have been cooked in the microwave. Disturbing dog barking outside the hotel at night.

Just one of two hotels in the main part of the city that cater to foreigners. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with secured parking as well. It is very close to the centre of the city and easy to walk around to the sights. Right across from the old food market and a lovely square with cafes, popular in the evening. Staff was pleasant and spoke English well.

It is a bit pricey because it is a Western chain hotel, but without a marriage certificate and needing air conditioning, it is one of the only two to stay in (Novotel is the other one).

The location is very good! The hotel is not at the "European" Ibis level, but close. Still, it is a European chain hotel, so in many aspects the stay there was more pleasant than in some higher-priced locally owned hotels elsewhere in Algeria. And the reception staff does speak English.

The heating control was broken, fortunately, it was set up for the right temperature so it did not cause any discomfort. Late-night arrival was strange because Ibis reception was closed and we had to check in through Novotel. Besides this no issues.

Great location and an even better staff. They helped us with everything and were happy to give advice. And the view we had from the hotel was simply indescribable.

Everything was absolutely fine with no problems at all. There’s nothing to complain about.

Centrally located, easily accessible, and great views from the third floor. Tasty breakfast and comfortable room with a shower. It's definitely a place to book as the rooms are reasonably priced.

The coriander had a bit of a stale smell.

The room is comfortable and the location is great. We found the staff helpful and the breakfast buffet offers many options.

We found the hotel overpriced and were a little shocked when we received the bill for the laundry service.

This Hotel is an excellent location , it is spacious , airy , clean and with an excellent breakfast . The rooms were clean and comfortable , likewise the bathroom . I would stay again !

Very good all round

Everything !!! The bed was comfy. Had beautiful quiet night. Clean and cosy. In the heart of the hustle and bustle.

Check in sometimes is slow......but again you are in Algeria..things do go slow.
