I spent a week here and thought it was a fantastic value considering what you get for the price. My room was spacious and comfortable. The place is very quiet and relaxing. Leisurely breakfasts and dinners on the patio were amazing and almost take you back to a bygone era of slower, more relaxed travel. The included breakfast is huge and delicious. Dinners are an additional fee but reasonably priced and very much worth the cost. Finally, I can't say enough about how accommodating and friendly the staff were. Anything I needed, they were right there and ready to help.

Not really a "dislike" but the place is a little more remote than I realized. In terms of relaxation and quiet that's a good thing, but given the heat there weren't many things I felt like walking to. However, Ubers were easy to get and cheap, so it worked out.

Relaxed. We stayed 8 days. Delightful multi lingual owner & Spanish speaking staff. Comfortable very clean rooms with individual patio FACING the small vineyard only 20 feet away. Numerous wine tasting vineyards within 2 miles. More vineyards under 5 miles. Various Vineyards offered tours, or 4 tastings or three tastings with 3 course lunch. Convivial breakfasts and dinner offered at the property gave us opportunities to get to know others who also travel à la cart. Lovely small pool. Multitudes of wild green small parrots. Highly recommend

Posada Cavieres is a fantastic place to stay. The helpful and friendly staff, the location and the facilities make it a great place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries after a long journey. You are also guaranteed a good nights sleep in a really comfortable bed. My wife and I enjoyed Posada Cavieres so much we stayed on two different occasions, whilst passing through Mendoza. It has the added bonus of having a few great wineries within walking distance. If we return to the Mendoza area, we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful setting, relaxing, nice to meet other guests at dinner. Hans was very friendly and helpful - by chance got to see the wine harvest happening. And they let me hang out on the property after check out as I had a late bus.

Reading other reviews, I thought there might be bikes to borrow/rent, but that wasn't the case. Not an issue though- it's walkable distance to a few wineries, it's just harder to do in the heat. Uber/cabify is available in the area as well.

The farm has a very nice and relaxed vibe. The owner Hans and his staff are very friendly and easy to reach. He can recommend things to do in the surrounding area and had bikes available to visit the bodegas in the neighborhood. The kitchen is wow! Very nice breakfast with fresh juice and eggs (any type you want). The only place in Mendoza (and maybe in the whole of Argentina) where you have the perfect combination of Belgian style fries with Argentinian steak. The empanadas where heavenly good. Nice wines of course! The garden with swimming pool is beautiful and there are only a limited number of rooms, so there's always enough room to relax! We used the laundry service, which was very good!!

The hot water in the shower wasn't working very well, but still a very nice, big and clean bathroom.

Posada wine farm is a hidden gem. The location is beautiful, quiet, and at walking distance from a number of well- and less well-known bodegas. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Hans, the owner, is very helpful and provides excellent suggestions. Ideal for travellers who want someplace small and personal but without compromising on quality.

We had a great time at the posada - it was a beautiful house in a beautiful location and we loved being so close to the wineries. Hans was a great host, even giving us a lift to one of our winery tours and providing dinner for us when we arrived very very late on the first night! He really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food and wine we had were delicious too. Thanks so much for a great stay Hans!

The location was fantastic, within a 10 min cycle / 25 min walk from many fantastic vineyards. Hanse was an excellent host, very friendly and even drove us to a vineyard when there were no more working bikes available, helped with booking an airport transfer and organising laundry. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed having access to outdoor seating with lovely views of the vines. Breakfast was also good quality.

The room was smaller than expected so there wasn’t much space to put suitcases.

Hans is a great host, he has a map with everything close to do around, I was just going from vineyard to vineyard. The restaurant in places has a very good breakfast and the steak that you can order for dinner is very good. The staff is lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed. I really enjoyed my stay ( was there for 7 nights)

No complaints

The property is located in a very quiet area close to many wineries. The service and friendliness of all the staff is more than excellent as they are helping you with all your questions. We also really enjoyed the fresh eggs at the breakfast every morning.

If you pay by cash it is fine, but if you pay the full price by card as shown I think it is not worth it in terms of price/quality. The property is getting a bit older.
