This hotel was in walking distance to lots of things including the main street, and some outdoor exhibits. The room itself was cozy and the bird flying by the window make the carpark view more exciting, even if this time I did get a garden view instead, just lovely. Adequate facilities, great airconditioning and tv reception, sufficient wifi (ludite here, I dont know if those more technically minded may require more). Staff are lovely and I was able to leave my bags at the reception before check in a few hours later. Was bussing back, so the convenience of walking such a short track back to town (coach stop, and cafes) was a piece of cake. Tryely will be returning here soon

I did find the guest communal kitchen, lol. Maybe, there could be a variety of hard/soft pillows as I've found in a few other places. Really, for basic needs, and a swimming pool taboot, this place has it all.

As a stopover from Adelaide (heading onto Queensland), the Copper City Motel was an ideal place to stay for a night. It was clean and comfortable, and the gentleman in the office was friendly. It was what you'd expect for the cost, and the air-conditioning system worked well in the room. Beds were comfy, and the shower had good pressure. The restaurant and bar, right next door, offered great meals.

There was a terribly strong smell in the room which reminded my husband and I of urinal blocks. Could have been the floor cleaner, but gosh it was overpowering.

The room was basic but very comfortable single beds. The room was tidy and clean and the fact that they allow pets to stay and our companion dog to stay in the room with us was such a blessing. It was a place to sleep and shower. The hot water and pressure was awesome. So if your looking for somewhere to just sleep and shower and have a cup of tea or coffee then this is the place to go and worth the money to have our dog with us.

The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor making a puddle to step out onto. That was our only fault.

We stayed at Copper City Motel in Cobar because it was a convenient stopping point after a long drive up from Melbourne. It proved to be an excellent location to explore Cobar and its mining heritage. It is very close to the Cobar Miners’ Heritage Park and the Great Cobar Museum which opens at 8:30 am so it is possible to see these early before setting off for another long day’s drive. Reception is open to 6 pm and you just key drop when you leave. Checkin was easy and we got helpful advice about what was around backed up by a detailed booklet in the room. There is a pleasant restaurant with a bar open till 10pm, more restaurants in town and a popular kebab truck opposite. The motel is all ground floor access with parking out front of your room. We were back from the main road so it wasn’t too noisy, however, you do hear cars leave early in the morning. The room had a min-fridge, toaster with coffee and tea-making facilities.

Unfortunately, the room was a bit too narrow and the dark grey and white decor with the bathroom in beige was old-fashioned. We couldn’t get the Wifi to work. There was no hanging space, just a bar that might work if you bring your own coat-hangers and we don’t. The old style air conditioner was very noisy and we had to turn it off. It got quite cold and there were no extra blankets or extra pillows. We ended up bringing in our sleeping bags from the car for the night.

Staff were great, I often check in outside of hours so the key collection and instructions made this easy. The location is ideal for me as I could grab a meal next door despite my late arrival. The rooms were clean (though maybe not pristine), air conditioned on arrival and everything I required. Ideally for me I could park my car directly outside my room which is a perosnal preference. I like the fact that they have a pool so I can jump in and freshen up after my drive. I'd have no issues staying again.

Good location with hotel next door with great meals. Comfortable bed, clean, close to town centre. Pool and communal kitchen. Friendly staff, old style rooms. Large TV.

No hot water, could only get very Luke warm in the afternoon and cold in the morning. Fridge in room could have been bigger and had missing shelves which made it hard to store stuff. Was smallest fridge I've ever seen in a motel. Needs replacing.

Very clean and comfortable, beds and pillows great especially after a long drive. Like most country motels they are reasonably modest however on all the key things you need as a traveller they did this very, very well + have a pool for fam to relax in too. Also great selection of meals for dinner in the hotel and restaurant and I stopped here on the way to and from Menindee, however could easily recommend a week stay here if you are exploring the region and there is stack to see and do here The owners and the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you and I would thoroughly recommend the Copper City Motel

Just sufficient. Quite a bit worn out property could do with an upgrade. The lights above the bed are dangerously exposed and out 3x year old son could easily touch the exposed ends just by standing on the bed. The shower is small and could do with upgrade and tidy up. It was good enough for our 1x night stop over for our trip Sydney to Perth.

We have stayed at this motel on a number of occasions and would recommend it for those who are travelling. We had stayed here in the previous week. Very quiet rooms, very little road noise given that it is almost on the highway. Very comfortable beds. Good access to internet. Given that the motel is undergoing renovations we were happy with the presentation of the accommodation. It is in easy walking distance of the shopping centre. The restaurant is now functioning, which is a bonus.

I didn't like that previous patrons had obviously burnt something in the microwave, and it had a burnt smell when I used it. I was a little concerned that there was no smoke alarm in the second room in which we stayed.

We really liked the location, easy to find & to access, we also had a trailer , and there was plenty of adequate & convenient space to park the car & trailer. The motel is a very short walking distance to the RSL which we've found a good place for a meal. However this time we had a meal at the restaurant at the front of the motel. Which was very nice, we both really enjoyed our meal there.
