Loved the location at the edge of the park. Very organised and friendly welcome from the staff and very good with all the information we needed. First impressions of our cottage were that it was old, but the inside was great and renovated and super clean. We did not use the pool but the cafe was excellent !! And also the best book exchange I have found in a long time- probably due to no television or wifi! My only suggestion would be to have a small jug in the fridge for cold water. Otherwise everything you could need was there, even down to the ice block tray which was much appreciated.

Nothing.

The cabin was very private with lovely views across farmland and bush. It was cool and the bed was really comfortable. The verandah was a great place to sit and enjoy the view while counting the wallabies in the paddock. The staff made this location even better, they were very helpful and had the best quirky sense of humour, we felt like long lost friends rather than guests. The delivery of yummy ready made homemade food to our cabin made for easy dining and no need to have to rush home so we could make the most of our days exploring. Freshly made sandwiches made for easy picnic lunches too.

We stayed in a double cabin with bathroom for 4 nights and found it perfect for our stay in Litchfield NP. Inside AC, a comfortable bed, good shower, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. Outdoors a large semi private deck with table and chairs and a BBQ. On site swimming pool, small store and day time coffee shop. The camp is large with plenty of space for campers and caravans on powered and non powered sites. Right on the parks boundary making day tripping easy.

No wifi, limited cell cover.

Great Location for Litchfield and we loved our bungalow Restaurant offers breakfast

No Wifi, cell signal also not strong enough for mobile data. This is really a nuisance, if you want to check Natl Park Infos, weather forecast, check in flights or just call home using Whatsapp... Can you change that? No dinner in restaurant. Please do not allow pets at the pool. Should be common sense, but many people bring dogs and there is ots of chaos and discussions at the pool as it "does not say so on the sign!"

Staff were friendly and helpful - there was a little shop and cafe where we could pick up snacks and get tourist info. We stayed in the 2 bedroom units with another couple. Bedrooms each had a tv and aircon which was already cooling our rooms on upon arrival. There was a big table outside with a ceiling fan which we used for breakfast and some boardgames in the evening. Outdoor shower and washing line with pegs was appreciated. Pool was nicely set up and clean - we took a few cans of beer to have by the poolside in the afternoon before dinner. Would recommend the Banyan restaurant down the road!

From the checked-in, Alice was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, made you feel very welcome. Swimming Pool was very clean and a good size for relaxing in the heat. Location for the accommodation cabins are very well thought out, giving privacy and quiet while surrounded by the trees. Cabins are very clean and comfortable, with all the utensils you need for a great stay No Wi-Fi or phone service made it an ideal get away.

On site shop was not open in the evening, need to make sure you are prepared, otherwise its a drive back in to Batchelor

Litchfield Tourist Park is in a great location, close to all the waterfalls in the national park. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage was cosy and well-equipped with everything we needed. They offer breakfast and packed lunches, but you’ll need to order early. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase within the park. Honestly, it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in the area. Highly recommended!

When looking for accommodation in Batchelor there was actually not a lot to choose from. Our expectations based on the booking.com site were not very high, but the two-bedroom bungalow we had was actually very nice and much better than we expected. We had two very spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom (incl. shower) and in addition an outside shower. The cafe only served breakfast and lunch (excluded from booking) and we had both. It was quite basic but very good. Location was probably the best you could get from getting into Litchfield NP.

Nothing.

The seeping was peaceful and so close to Litchfield NP. The fridge worked well and the BBQ and deck were great for self catering. The grounds are well maintained.

The room smelled a bit damp and we ran out of water pressure so had no water for a few hours one night but it came good by morning. We reported this the next morning when we were checking out a need they were going to fix it.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful location and grounds. All cabins and camp ground surrounded by trees, providing shade everywhere. Lush green lawns for kids to run around on. Pool to cool down in was great. Our cabin was really clean, well equipped. Super cozy bed, blinds/curtains make rooms lovely and dark. Coffee from cafe was really good. So impressed with our stay

Pool would benefit from some shade over it from afternoon sun.
