I really appreciated the staff allocating me a quiet room, just as I requested. That was the most important thing because I was in Katherine to work. After that, the breakfasts were terrific - not just continental, but a cooked breakfast was included in the price and sets you up for the day. The staff were always friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the pool at the end of the working day.

The mattress! It dipped on both sides, gave me slight lower back discomfort - time for a new one!

Very Spacious and comfortable bed and room, secure yard for vehicle parking is a big plus.

Bathroom a little small with nowhere to hang bath towels or to place personal toiletries. Water pressure very weak in shower (i have had worse) and not able to get enough heat in the water without compromising pressure more (making it weaker). I was placed in a refurbished room near the pool. It was really comfortable, cool and quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient, as I have found in the past. They took the time to track down my swimsuit, which I had left behind when checking out a week earlier. Much appreciated, guys!

As the restaurant is closed at this time unfortunately, I would have liked cutlery in the room for take-aways. Staff gave me some on request, however.

Dinner was excellent, good proportions, air con was good and quite enough to sleep, would suggest installing fans, or providing standalone fan. Room clean. fridge good and quite, Noise levels all round good. Short walk to town and club. Good lighting at night.

Daily special good idea but wasn’t available daily, alcohol too expensive. Water pressure was poor only just warm enough, mattress on its last legs, but adequate. TV a bit small for my old eyes.

Comfortable bed, good shower and nice soaps. Very clean. Nice touch with jug of cold water in fridge. Good air con. Plenty of electricity sockets. Well located 5 minute walk to Woolworths and petrol. Limited menu in restaurant but huge portions of food. The potato wedges were absolutely fantastic (could have fed four with one bowl!). There were lovely tropical plants lining the site making it feel green and welcoming. I would return without hesitation.

Only request would be a bedside table lamp.

Convenient parking. All ground floor rooms. Nice outdoor seating area for a casual drink after work.

Tiled floor in room was dirty/oily. Feet became dirty just walking around a few time. Ended up moving around on the bathroom mat after a shower. Old fashioned shower head uses a lot of water hence hot doesn’t go very far (along with very low pressure) in the morning when everyone is using it.

Very clean motel. Nice pool area with a good BBQ. The included breakfast was fantastic, and dinner food was great and reasonably priced. Laundry available and microwave on site. Staff were very helpful. Good security as gates locked at night.

When I arrived, after ringing the previous day to confirm my arrival, I was told my booking had been cancelled. They were completely booked out so I couldn't stay there. I don't know if Booking.com was responsible for this; whether I did something wrong in the process, although I received more than one email confirmation from booking.com and from the motel. They rang around to other motels for me and I got the second last available room in the whole town. Happy ending, but very unhappy process. I probably won't use booking.com again.

I was solo traveling by Greyhound bus in the off season and decided to stay in Katherine for two nights to see the Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge. The motel was clean, the room had all you need and their restaurant tasty with big portions. I liked refreshing myself in the pool outside. The staff and owner were super helpful and friendly and even drove me to the hot springs and allowed me to stay in the room until the Greyhound bus arrived. Highly recommend!

Quiet location within walking distance back into town. Room and facilities as expected. Small pool on site to cool off.

The room needs a small bedside table or stand on each side of the bed so you can put items in reach overnight
