The restaurant is great, with an amazing selection of food, and everything is so fresh. Also it's great to choose a place that has a pool, you will need it.

During our recent stay at Desert Gardens Hotel, we encountered a consistent issue with room service timing. As many activities in the desert are scheduled for early mornings, guests typically return to the hotel by early afternoon, hoping to find their rooms refreshed and ready. Unfortunately, room service did not attend to our room before 3:30 pm, despite multiple requests to various staff members, including the room service team, front desk, and even the manager. Although the hotel kindly offered a $90 credit towards our dining bill to apologise for the inconvenience, the recurring issue with room service timing was disappointing. We had expected more attention to guest requests and proactive service, particularly from a four-star establishment.

Very good service, convenient stay!

Great accommodation in a resort where you can use all the facilities. The pool at the 5 star hotel in the same resort was obviously a bit nicer so we just went there, and used their facilities, including bar and the amazing buffet restaurant. A great way to save money but have a 5 star stay!

Clean and comfy room. Comfy bed and pillows. Staff are very helpful and happy to share as much information about the area as you need. The dining experience was lovely at our hotel. Nice outdoor bar area and walking distance to the entire property, shops, pub, and other services. There are plenty of activities around the township during the day and plenty of tourists.

We requested a ground floor room but still had steps to navigate. The garden view was a mountain of red dirt, not quite what I expected.

The room was very spacious, the bathroom, too. The ceiling was high and it is a very decorative room. We loved the terrace with garden chairs and table to observe the birds in the morning hours with the red sand in front of us. It was a magic stay, very close to the Uluru and the Olgas. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind, we loved the choice of restaurants and can recommend the hotel's own restaurants. Actually, all people in Yulara were extremely friendly and helpful. We will never forget our stay there. Many thanks!

Great location, free parking on site, large comfortable spacious room. Close to town centre. Could see the rock from our room. Clean well appointed room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large gardens and walking space.

Wifi Internet was terrible to a point of being useless. Was not able to use throughout stay despite letting reception know about it. Water pressure low in shower. Pool a little too cold. Would be easy to warm up with simple black hosing heating system. Tv was a modern smart tv but features were inaccessible such as youtube and netflix. I suspect its due to the poor internet that they disable this function. Bed was a little soft for my liking.

Friendly, helpful and well organised. From pick up at airport to catching tour buses, very well run. Plenty to offer and see in hotel area and great proximity to Uluru and beyond. Rooms are clean with everything you need, you're hardly there anyway, sleep and off out to explore. Arnguli Grill restaurant was great, definitely eat there!

Beds not that comfortable. Open shower floods the bathroom and no fan. Buffet breakfast at Mangata Bistro and Bar was awful except the toast. Bad coffee, watery scrambled egg and beans. Everything wasn't hot. $45 a head! Great place for a beer though at the end of the day!

Room was in an amazing location with the veranda facing out onto the desert. Very cool. Bed was super big and cozy, room and bathroom and excellent size. Was probably a bit outdated but that didn't really matter as it was very clean. The restaurant on Resort was great. Resort facilities overall were excellent and access to trips and transport was brilliant. Free airport shuttle which is rare these days.

The pool at this hotel was small. No pool bar. People were just letting their kids run wild. No staff around monitoring the situation.

Loved the staff and amenities. Great service.

There was a little mice in the room that kept us up one night but no harm done. Just took a bite out of the sandwich left over in my bag.
