The room was neat and tidy. Had just what we needed for our stay. The staff were very nice and easygoing. Checking in/out was smooth and super easy. I needed an early checkout out, and it was not a problem at all. The place is within walking distance of the petrol station (next door) and the IGA (5 mins max). You could even walk into the Town Centre, but it would take you about 15/ 20 minutes.

The room I had, which was staying in (no.12), the bed was a little in the way of the door. Which made it a little bit of a challenge to get in the door with your bags.

The friendly staff. Excellent location near railway station. I came by train … had no car … I did a fair bit of walking and motel owner Maree gave me several lifts (5) when required to go to local tourist attractions … particularly appreciated when it was raining. It enriched my stay. Late checkout (free of charge) due to departure time of the Westlander.

The (new) owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. For instance, they gave me lifts to and from the Cosmos Centre & RFDS centre, because I had arrived by train and it would have been very hot to walk there. But, if you are travelling by train, a bonus is that it's less than a minute from the station! And just a few minutes walk from the rest of the town itself. They were also very flexible about check-in and -out times, which I appreciated.

Just be aware of the sulphurous smell of the bore water in the shower. (I assumed this was normal, as I have encountered it elsewhere).

The reception staff are great. We’ve broken down in Charleville and Guy (at reception) was so understanding and helpful, even offering to drive us anywhere we needed. The motel is in a great spot. Only a walk away from everything in town. Very clean and quite spacious. We’ve stayed a couple of more days in this lovely, little town. Lots more to see than meets the eye.

Great location to railway station and town. Super friendly staff who very kindly drove us to and from the tours we booked as we arrived by train and did not have a car to get to some locations. Really appreciated the tubs of butter and condiments left for our use. Highly recommend this motel.

Welcoming on arrival. Spacious modern accommodation, extremely clean and comfortable bed. I loved the small touches ie butter/jam/honey and biscuits. Also a jug of cold water in the fridge was perfect. Spacious parking too. What more can you ask for?

Clean and comfortable and very close to town to walk into shops and coffee. The owners were very helpful in moving us to a bigger room for our long-term stay. Our cabin had all the facilities that you would expect and it was a great stay.

Good location, very clean, plenty of space in the room, comfortable bed, reliable wifi, nice quiet aircon. Everything I wanted, really. The jug of cold water waiting for me in the fridge was a welcome touch.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Apart from the smell of the bore water in the shower, but that's not a criticism of the motel.

Robbo was a friendly and efficient host, quickly sorting a booking mix up with the ease of a pro. The self-contained rooms were well set up, there were ample spare blankets, the air con was a little noisy but worked well and the bbq area was a bonus. The location was across from the bilby experience, train station and a short walk to the IGA and Corones pub. The beautifully painted Charleville water tower can also be viewed from the motel. We would definitely return for a visit

The cabins' construction meant you could hear a bit, though not a lot (clompy boots at 6am & neighbour's heaters).The main motel was brick and had better soundproofing. The motel site straddles a servo, which may put some people off, but it makes for a quick ice cream fix!

Handy location just a short walk into town, service station next door and information centre across the road from that. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was a little cramped but to be fair we were travelling with fridges and self-catering.
