There are not a lot of options in Cooktown. This property is the correct choice. The pool is outstanding. the room was large and had everything we needed. Restaurant also was superb, had a great T bone steak on "Tuesday Steak night". There also is RSL across the street.

The Dinner service got very busy because of the downstairs restaurant being closed for a remodel and a bus tour spending the night. We ate at the bar and had a great time. Staff did wonderful job getting everyone fed.

Located conveniently in the centre of town, and a short walk from many of the attractions Cook Town has to offer. The family room was large and clean and comfortably fitted a family of four. Staff were very friendly and engaging and happy to pass on local information. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the resort pool and beautiful oasis to come home to at the end of the day. Would absolutely stay again.

All staff friendly and welcoming. Room was OK showing some signs of age but well maintained. Restaurant was packed Friday night but timely service not bad and food excellent

The shared Verandah off Third Floor balcony needed a good wash (black feet!) Also smokers allowed which made it inhospitable for non smokers.

We were positioned ground floor adjacent to the high street. Small veranda with no view because of tall fence, otherwise a nice stay. I’ll be back but I’ll request a room with more of a view.

We both like the office support and checking in. The room was well positioned and was clean. There were signs of age, but nothing that took away the stay. Overall great two nights.

The Friday night pool swimmers and local drinkers that kept us up until 2359.

Great location in middle of town, could walk to everything. Next door to pub, short walk to RSL and bistro. Lovely pool area. Comfortable bed.

Shower was very noisy because the thermostatic mixing valves need servicing. (Hubby is a technician) Our room had no view of anything but a wall. Flashing LED light in bathroom.

Great Location and room was excellent, clean and comfortable.

Would have been nice to have a bigger fridge to fit my own food and drinks in, the fridge was small and filled with a mini bar items.

Breakfast menu was good, eggs many different ways. Baked coral fish and a cereal dish with yoghurt and fresh fruit. Location was right in the middle of town. No noise, very comfortable, private rooms side by side with our adult daughter. Great pool.

First floor Restaurant was excellent very roomy and good service.

Problems with the Toilet, the.inlet valve blew up with a big bang,could not use the toilet for 3hours.

Very comfortable and spacious in the 2 bedroom apartment. Pool was great and water was warm but not too warm. Food at the restaurant was amazing.

I got to sleep on the sofa bed which was a bit uncomfortable.
