This is a decent, no nonsense place to stay in Nanango. Bed was comfy, water hot. Location is excellent, a very easy 2 minute walk up to the pub for dinner. I’d say this place gets a lot of road/mine workers through judging by the utes in the car park.

Other people smoking directly outside their rooms…I cannot understand why this is allowed to happen so close to other rooms!! The woman next door to us chain smoked the entire time we were there, and even with our door closed, it seeped in. As a non smoker, this is a huge turn off. Wish there was a dedicated smokers area instead.

The location was great, a super short walk up the road to cafes and shops, but not on a main road where there was a lot of heavy vehicle noise etc. The shower pressure was amazing!! This seems silly but it is important after a day on the road! I like a firm pillow as a side sleeper, it took everything in me not to take the pillow home with me it was so good! I like that there are power points on both sides of the bed, and one of them even had a USB port in it for charging mobile devices will still leaving the power ports for other things you might need. The Netflix service was already set up and available to watch on the TV which is great. There was mugs, cups tea spoons and a tea station provided in the room. I used the provided hair and body wash products and they were quite nice and had a subtle fragrance and my hair felt lovely the next day, so good products provided too. The mini fridge had a freezer compartment for those needing to freeze cooler bricks for their eski etc. I would stay again!!

If you are wanting to reheat food in your room and need cutlery and crockery, I didn't have any in my room like plates, knives and forks so you may have to ask the front desk to provide those. The bed is super firm as they usually are in motel stays, so if you don't like a firm bed like me, this is just a note to be made.

The staff were lovely. The room was clean and tidy. The amenities were nice and clean. I thought the traffic would be noisy and frustrating, but it was quite fine.

The fridge was quite noisy, I couldn't turn it off as I had food for my work trip that needed refrigerating, but all in all it didn't affect the stay much. I didn't feel the need to bring it up with staff, but I'm sure they would have done all they could to help.

Nice beds, very comfy, everything we needed really. And Onni the owner, was very friendly and helpful!

Several smokers outside their rooms smoking, horrible smell, no consideration for any non-smokers there! Screaming baby, 8-10pm, plus their noisy visitors in next door unit and a crazy screaming woman off and on, out in the street till about midnight were extreme downsides.

When I got to my room, it was presented lovely with the shampoo and soaps displayed nicely on the bed. Glasses and mugs wrapped in the paper bag, tea and coffee, loved that they supplied a Hairdryer in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great, nice hot water, they also supplied nice toilet paper.

The location was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Check in was a bit confusing - boys went to check in and had to pay - instead of the room payment being taken off the credit card held. However once that was sorted all was fine.

The Nanango Star was close to the main centre of town and food options. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect.

There was a little bit of road noise but only on occasions due to being a fairly quiet town.

We stayed just the night on our way through my mum was in a wheelchair and the room was very suitable for her. We had a room across from them and were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs

There was nothing we did not like everything was clean tidy and comfortable

The manager really helped my friend who was quite unwell and needed a quiet space to lay down. He let us check in early way before the time we said. This really helped my friend so much.

Couldn't wash our own dishes and had to keep asking staff for clean plates and cutlery etc
