Good location end of Main Street. Comfortable bed and unit spotlessly clean. Well equipped with kitchen stuff etc Friendly and efficient check in. Undercover parking. Pretty good place to stay and would stay there again.

Sound proofing between units not brilliant chance of being disturbed if u were unlucky with noisy neighbours.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were willingly given immediate early access to our room on arrival and allowed very late check-out to coincide with Greyhound bus arrival and departure times, which added to the enjoyment and comfort of our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable and well-supplied with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and toiletries. There are no restaurant facilities on site, but there are two excellent early opening cafes close by - Coffee Cube and Lost Poet - for breakfast, and you couldn't do better than Tatt's Hotel, 100m away, for a great atmosphere and super meals throughout the rest of the day

A lovely country town and friendly people. Accommodation within walking distance of everything. Historical interest. Excellent dinner in the Winton Hotel. Beautiful sunsets. A Visit from a family of Brolgas was the highlight. They come for a feed! Waltzing Matilda centre was amazing and the Cafe was very good. Red Dirt tour to the Dinasour Stampede well worth doing.

Don't use the online reservation for Tattersalls Hotel for dinner. It will be declined. Phone or drop in.

Good location in town and a walk to most places

While clean and comfortable it has been many t year since we lived where town water was “bore water”. This being the case in Winton I suggest that for out of town visitors and many who are regularly guest with The Outback that they provide a couple of bottles of water in the fridge for drinking or making a cup of tea or coffee. We have had most of our outback accommodation overnight stops during this current (10 week) and our previous trips provide this consideration. It increases the enjoyment of our stays for very little cost and effort on the part of the property owners.

OMG, this place is next level amazing!!! They were so lovely!!! Accommodation was perfect! Beds were better than we've ever slept in! You HAVE to stay here if you stay in Winton! They have local knowledge, comfort, and experience! They have the whole package! We booked for the wrong night but thankfully they allowed us to stay! 100% stay with this hotel!!!!! We will be back 110%!!!

The parking was under cover outside our room. The place was on a main road but we heard no noise. The television and wifi were both good. The brolgas were entertaining each morning - we were told they appear each morning to be fed. The motel was close enough for me to walk into the town to look at the interesting buildings.

Everything was good.

Very convenient location walking distance to town. Clean and comfortable. Mostly excellent.... But..

Advertised in big letters on side of motel. Fastest WIFI in Winton. No WIFI calling and no Optus coverage. Usual annoyances in motels with TV on late at night next door and car left running early in the morning outside our front door.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the brolgas who came every morning and night to the front of the motel. Nice room, comfy bed and good facilities. Good location for Age of Dinosaurs which was an excellent experience in a beautiful location. A real taste of outback Queensland.

Winton water takes some getting use to, it comes out of tap smelling "different". Must be good for you - "taking the waters". I love birds but Winton is a bit of overkill, the lovely song of the butcher bird is not so lovely when it it is continuous from 3.30 to 5.30 am only to be followed by the not so sweet sounds of a flock of galahs.

Friendly welcoming reception. Great sized clean and comfortable motel room in a quiet location with block out curtains and a comfortable king sized bed. We loved seeing the family of Brolgas come strolling through the grounds each day. A great base for visiting dinosaur attractions. The motel is only a short stroll to many choices of popular eateries. We ate at and can recommend the Tattersalls and Winton hotels for dinner and the lovely unique Lost Poet for breakfast.

Filling the kettle was an issue, if the basin tap in ensuite was replaced with goose neck tap would solve the problem. That said we still had a cuppa each day😀

Great location within easy walking distance to all places of interest in Winton township. The orange towels are a great idea. Family of Brolgas visited the motel gardens every morning. Friendly staff very easy to talk to. Clean & quiet location. Dirt Road Tours pick up at door for Dinasour Fossils Adventures.

The car parks are small, but larger area for parking was available adjacent to unit.
