Our road trip passed by Meningie and it was a convenient stop - however you need to be aware, that this town shuts down at eight in the evening and particularly on Monday and Tuesday you might have difficulties to find some dinner (at least we didn't see anything on Google Maps). We had anticipated this and arrived with a pizza, which we enjoyed in our quite large room. The location is otherwise quite nice, there's the lakefront just over the road with lots of birds and in the morning the town wakes up and is very nice. We got some breakfast two doors north.

Walls were quite thin, our room neighbor could be clearly heard talking on the phone. But at least she stopped at 10pm and we slept quite well afterwards.

Room was well appointed and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Location was good, with shops close by and the water and park area across the road. Owners were pleasant and very helpful.

Unfortunately we were staying overnight just before the Meninge lawn mowing race. There were a group of guests staying together and were involved in the race and were very noisy early in the morning and had no respect for others. It was not fault of the owners, however they apologised on our departure. Other than that, no problems.

Great for short stay. Had everything we needed, comfortable bed, clean and everything worked well. Nice foreshore. Side trip to Coorong was nice.

Re the area -Not that much to do. Drove around lake across cable ferry. Checked out lighthouse but whole way hardly saw the lake.

Large king bed was so comfortable. Lovely spa to relax in. Location is close to everything - lake, pub, shops. Right in town. Had a microwave and small sitting area. Was bigger than I had expected. Very clean. Sitting area outside also. Even though its on the main road the place was pretty quiet at night.

Spacious, clean, room with big comfortable bed, large bathroom with spa - though not used - but nice shower over the bath.

View provided in the advert implies a lake view which technically you have. However before the lake is a wide main road so the outlook is less attractive than I'd hoped for.

Great location for an overnight stay. The room had everything you need - kettle, toaster and microwave. You are located right in the Main Street. There is a cafe at the front of the hotel. We originally thought it was just ice cream but they all make great coffee and breakfast.

Spacious clean room , very comfortable bed Tea/Coffee facilities,Fridge, Microwave, Toaster Situated on the main road right next to Cafes/Restaurants Lake Albert shore less than 100 meters away Plenty of birds around very nice and knowledgeable staff free wifi with good internet speed

The room was great considering it was a motel. Great kitchen stuff in the room which helped. Bathroom was ok.

The shower was ok, but the shower head was a bit annoying. It would go cold sometimes, and was a bit hard to get enough pressure.

We stayed 2 nights, one in the way to Mannum from home and one on way back. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and came to room quickly to help us when asked. Large room and easy access for my husband and I to manoeuvre his wheelchair and walker. It was great to be asked by staff for tips and where any improvement could be made to make the room more disability supportive and friendly. After our chats they are looking for more bathroom disability aids. Room very clean and has all the mod cons you could need eg, toaters, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.... etc. My husband loved the shower especially with the size and ease of access. Very comfy beds and lots and lots of pillows which were good to make hubbie sitting up in bed very comfy.

There wasn't much we didn't like, the owners seeked feedback and ideas when we arrived and during our stay, and gave us feedback on their search for what we had discussed before we left the next day and our return a day later. All our ideas of additional epuipment to improve the room have been taken on board and being looked into. These included the addition of a couple disability aids that would improve this room for individuals with mobility disabilities such as a better shower chair, a toilet riser or a disability height toilet bowl and small removable cover over glass door rungs to help make an easy and smooth entry for wheelchairs or walkers.

This hotel was just a one night stop on a seven hour road trip. The room was large and well equipped clean quiet and safe. This is just a inexpensive budget motel, but the orders did a great job with it.
