Breathtaking scenery and rock formations throughout this area of the Flinders Ranges with magnificent Eucalypts. Very peaceful with many stunning areas to visit even for a few hours or days. All set against the backdrop of the Flinders Ranges this entire area is incredibly beautiful. We stayed at Willow Springs in the Governess Cabin which although small was reasonably well equipped It's about 22m2 with an undercounter fridge bearly adequate when you have to take all provisions. Very helpful at checkin with much helpful information on the recommended trips and things to do and see.

Leaking dripping taps urgently need repair

Stockman’s Lodge was very comfortable. The beds were exceptional and the electric blankets much appreciated in the cold weather. The Lodge had everything we needed so we all had an enjoyable stay. The Reynolds family were very warm and welcoming and helped to make our 4 day stay that much more interesting. We did the Skytrek 4WD track and enjoyed the challenge and all that could be seen on the drive around the property. The plentiful supply of firewood was appreciated.

Good WiFi at the home and better water pressure in the shower would have been welcome, but was not a major problem for us.

Being able to experience “the land” - red dirt and all!! We stayed in the Overseer’s Cottage for four nights. Needed that amount of time to explore the Flinders. The cottage had everything to be self contained. Make sure you bring enough supplies for your stay. Directions were spot on for arrival. We felt SkyeTrek to be very central and a better area than others if wanting to drive to Blinman and Parachilna (to experience feral dining)! We highly recommend Skytrek.

What a fantastic place Willow Springs is! The cosy and very comfortable little Overseer's Cottage had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We were very warm on the chilly nights and the kitchen was well equiped for cooking meals - good BBQ too. The hosts were lovely and always happy to help, and the location was excellent for exploring the Flinders Ranges from. The property has many walks you can go on, and there was plenty of information and interesting history to learn about the Family, their Station and the wildlife. We would highly recommend this property - wished we had longer there, and hope to be back some day soon.

Loved this property; exterior play area off of main dining room, large dining area with fireplace and couches to lounge. Gift shop had unique to Australia items. Glamping in large tent with beds. Tents had lots of shelf space by beds. Beds comfy. Able to charge phone in cook house. Fridge in cook house. Loved waking early to eat breakfast on log near tent to watch/listen to birds. Short distance to attractions in area. Menu selection for gluten free, dairy free ample. Food was delicious! Quiet and welcoming.

Front desk staff were not always available. Wanted to book wall of china tour and told no tours on Sunday (was Friday when I inquired about next day tour). Cook house not as clean as should have been for food safety

The hospitality is excellent. George (staff) gave us great touring info that help us see more than we originally planned. The unit is well set up. A dispenser of spring water, BBq. The camp kitchen & laundry facility excellent. It was well setup for a furry friend. We didn’t have one. So convenient to Wilpena , the National Park & Stokes Hill lookout. Thank you Skytrek . Staff were lovely and the area is beautiful. Cabin was neat and clean. It was also reasonably well set up with what you might need. Main bed was comfortable enough. In warmer weather the verandah and BBQ would be great to use and give the cabin more options for space and spreading out.

The Governesses cabin was an older style like you see in caravan parks. This one obviously had no insulation, and even with 2 pairs of warm socks and shoes, our feet froze as the floor never got close to warm. Air-conditioning was obviously limited to about 20 and wasn't keeping up, so we froze. Admittedly, the daytime tops were about 8 degrees. I wouldn't recommend coming in winter. Early autumn and later spring would be better. Cabin says it sleeps 4, I wouldn't want to put bigger kids in the bunks as it would be a squeeze. You have to walk past the bunks to use shower/toilet and the sink is in with the bunks. The main bed is in the living area.Would only be OK for a day or 2 at most.

The location of this place is so unique! It's a bit off the main road but definitely worth it! The cabins are well equipped and have a a nice terrace for sitting outside. You are really in the middle of nature here. The people who run the place were very welcoming and helped us with planning our activities. There are also a few hiking trails on the land, highly recommend to hike to the Yacca lookout (about 45 minutes one way): there's an amazing 360 view on the area!

Loved this accomodation. Cabin clean and had everything i needed,lovely quiet area and felt very much away from everything in a good way. Easy drive to lots of places and walks. Wildlife everywhere,really loved the surroundings. Would visit again without hesitation. Family who ran the ranch were very informative and helpful.

We had a fantastic time! The facilities great! The beds are super comfortable. The fireplace added a warm, cozy touch to our evenings, and the fire pit was a highlight for the whole family. The kids had a blast roasting marshmallows—it made for such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
