I liked the old style pub, great meals good value for money and considering I'll need to stay in Port Augusta regularly this will now be my go to place. Rick the owner is honest, down to earth and likes a chat. I like the fact this is an old fashioned type of place where custom service comes first. The meals are well priced, very decent portions and best of all taste fantastic. If you want the kind of service you used to get in a place like this then hands down Rick will not disappoint. Thanks again Rick and I'll see you again in a few weeks.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, the customer service was amazing, the food was amazing and the bed I slept in was amazingly comfortable

The service was excellent staff where excellent as well I looked a little losses and a staff member asked if I was ok the room was very comfortable head a great sleep was worried about the security but I had no reason to was completely safe

What I didn't like was the room door was very loose, not that anyone would open the door and had to put the door stopper to stop the door from rattling by the wind

The staff were great the food was the proper pub food heaps of it and tasted unreal and very well priced the pub is in the middle of town walk every where

The rooms aren’t flash but they are honest for the money

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Though we were barely there for the week we stayed we had everything we needed. Very hard to get accomodation in Port Augusta at the time but Lisa( receptionist) the legend made room for me and my children for a week stay in such short notice. Very thankful.

he certainly wasn’t the Hilton hotel, but for the price, it was more than adequate. The staff were also very accommodating and welcoming, which, for me speaks volumes.

The place was outdated, but I wouldn’t say this was a dealbreaker for me

Beds were super comfy The history of the building was fascinating The meals were lovely, pizzas were soo delicious Richard was a great host We loved walking through the old hallways and stairwells. Family sized rooms!!

A kitchenette common area for hot water toaster etc

Great location , price was good, staff helpful and pleasant . The room was all we needed and very clean easy access .

Central location, good security. Room attendant Cathy was friendly and helpful. Good wifi, TV and coffee making facilities in the room. Easy walk to supermarkets and banks.

Quite noisy Friday night until late, otherwise it was easy to sleep.

Staff were extremely friendly, continually checking I was catered for. The room was adequate with facilities, I felt safe & comfortable. Everything worked

The bathroom area was small, however that seems the standard in these area's.

Great location. Great parking. Great food. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a three week road trip. Very helpful staff.

A little bit tired, but so what, as long as it’s clean, which it was. It was a perfect place for a stopover.
