Lakeview is a good value motel. It appears that renovations are being done as our good-sized room had a nice new bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, there was a small fridge & microwave & we welcomed the air con. heating as the weather was a bit icy. We had a pleasant view from the outdoor patio area, which had a table & 2 chairs.

There was a very dated kitchenette with a door falling off one of the cupboards. The crockery was "well used" & should be replaced. The cord of the microwave (which was sitting on top of the fridge) didn't reach the power point, so we had to move it onto a side table near the TV. A little more attention to detail is needed when cleaning as there was black dust on some upper surfaces, and the kitchenette floor felt a bit gritty.

We had a large ground floor room with kitchen and plenty of storage with a Queen and 2 single beds. Quiet area, we slept well. Heating was excellent, extra blankets if needed, even a full sized stove, plus a microwave. Lovely view over the lake, free laundry, great BBQ area, only minutes to main street. Staff were friendly and helpful. No one in reception but very helpful phone number if any issues, easy check in. Reasonable price.

Only thing was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, needs replacing. Also shower head needs replacing, but appears that refurbishment is taking place by new owners. Otherwise all was good

I needed pet friendly accommodation and this suited my purposes. Lovely outlook over the lake. The room was nice and roomy and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Functional kitchenette with full stove/oven, fridge and microwave. Plus crockery and utensils.

The room is dated and definitely needs some basic maintenance, but it was cheap and the right price for what it was. The cleaning staff could probably do a deeper clean now and then eg clean the exhaust fan in the bathroom and the blades on the overhead fan.

I think the double bed could be more comfortable / be replaced I recommend upgrading it fixing the stove. 2 of the stovetop plates did not work in room 11. Further, there was only a bread knife and not a decent kitchen knife in the drawer. Other supplies were v good. I visited reception to see if I could get a knife to cut my veggies at lunchtime, but reception was closed. If a kitchen is provided, I recommend that stoves and ovens be on hood working order, and that the basic utensils are provided, included at least 1 sharp kitchen knife for veggies.

We stayed in the Family Executive room. The room was very large with 2 single and 1 queen bed, couch, table and chairs, TV, microwave, toaster, kettle, stove and utensils and small fridge. There were plenty of cupboards. The highlight of the room was on opening the door and the view over the lake was amazing. There was a little table and chair outside the room on your terrace facing the morning sun over the lake which was perfect to sit at for breakfast. The beds were comfortable with lovely white sheets. The bathroom probably needs updating but was serviceable with walk in shower and toilet. Very limited toiletries. The hairdryer was hardwired into the wall and had a very short cord. There was a lovely large undercover bbq area overlooking the lake which had a large fridge to cool your drinks and a large TV screen. The motel was quiet and a short pleasant 10 mins walk into town. There was not anyone located at reception while we were there and you are provided with a code to open the safe for your key on check in, it was any easy process. A number was provided should you have any questions or problems with your room. There was also a complimentary laundry with washing machines, dryer and soap powder provided which was unexpected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeview and would return again if in the area.I found it good value with everything we needed for our 3 night stay

I did not realise that the rooms were not serviced daily but this really wasn't a big issue as we spoke to the lovely young girl who was cleaning the rooms who provided us with a set of fresh towels. The shower tap was leaking in our room.

Our room was upgraded at no extra cost. The room was immaculate, and excellent value for money. Had everything we needed for a 2-day stay in terms of facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to accommodate a late checkout as they were not busy the next day. When we are in the area next we would stay there again.

As the back area is all one grass area, there was limited backyard privacy and people of all ages were walking behind our suite. This didn't bother us too much, however, it was a bit surprising and may bother some people.

Incredible location, couldn’t want more than a direct beach view and porch with chairs. Rooms are simple, clean, great tv with Netflix and other apps and modern, clean bathrooms. The staff were very nice and accomodating as well! I would for sure stay there again, I loved it! Super cute and incredible views!

The only suggestion is that there be an option of sheer curtains rather than just black out blinds to have a little more privacy at times but still enjoy the view!

Liked having an apartment and great view of the lake.

Getting a bit old now and needs an update. Had horrible smell from the toilet drains. It was hard to work out how to use the television and had to call for assistance. The final night we lost power in the kitchen and couldn’t get it working. Ended up using an extension cord but still had to cook dinner on bbq outside, so not ideal. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Very spacious room for the two of us and our dog. Also features a large, separated kitchen area. It was a treat to have a back door to the lawn with view to the lake. Our dog enjoyed the little extra walkie at night. Easy parking next to the room was great as well.

Not surprisingly, back side table was not allowing to sit for a long time before being bothered by mosquitos. Luckily, there was enough space in the room to fit another table next to the window with lake view as well.

really nice outlook over a recreational lake. The morning sun rises over the lake which was nice. The motel really isnt that far to walk into town for food or beverages although it is perched on top of a hill so walker type devices would struggle if attempting to head out to town.

some of the parking area is kind of sloping so would be a little difficult for motorcycles . They would need to get the rooms with flat parking. There is both at this property.
