Beautiful bird sounds to wake up to, shower head’S were absolutely amazing!! Yes there were 2! room was very clean, staff were very accommodating and friendly, beautiful views from back patio that were inclosed to make the experience more personal. Bbq area was clean with everything needed surrounded by beautiful nature.

We had a great stay at Riverside Motel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and suited our needs. We needed to extend our time, and this was easily accommodated. We loved the veranda that looked out onto the river, so peaceful listening and watching the bird life. The BBQ area was awesome, clean and well equipped. The table and chairs great size and under cover.

This is a small motel on the northern edge of Donald. It is a little old fashioned but the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms are newly renovated. Each room has a deck that overlooks a branch of the Richardson River and the surrounding nature reserve. It was a very pleasant outlook and made for a quiet night. We enjoyed our stay.

It is a bit of a walk to the dining options but it was an interesting walk up the main street with each building having a plaque that outlined its history.

Absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Motel in Donald! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautifully clean – you can tell great care goes into maintaining the place. It’s incredible value for money, and the warm, friendly service from Andrew and his family made us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area – we’ll definitely be back!

This is a gem of a motel. It may be small in comparison to other motels but it packs a big punch for accommodation. The room is well set out. The bed was super comfortable. There is a microwave and toaster and kettle and enough crockery for 2. Very clear instructions are provided by management in a friendly manner. The bathrooom I think was brand new. The shower was huge and had a hand held and a rain shower. The best bit was the sliding doors onto a small private balcony overlooking the river. It was beautiful to sit and hear the bird song. It was an easy walk into town for a pub or supermarket. Parking right out front. Great job

We loved our short stay at Donald Riverside Motel. Close to everything only a short walk into town which was handy. Our room had everything we needed. Slept well and the aircon helped as it was hot and just loved the balcony view over the river where we sat and had our meals and morning coffee listening to the birds at night it was so relaxing. The owners are very nice and friendly and kept the place lovely. Newly renovated bathroom the shower had good water pressure also. Will definitely come back again.

We arrived late but was still made welcome. Parking right outside room was a bonus, plenty of space. Lovely room but on the small side compared to other motel rooms stayed in this trip. Good sized bed with pretty bedding. Big shower, really nice towels. Exceptionally clean. Quite location so slept really well. Great private, outside seating space, over looking the river, very nice bonus on a beautiful day.

There are an awful lot of do and don't notices. It's a bit like being a teenager and having to follow other people's rules, of which their are several.

The room was well equipped with a microwave and crockery etc, and the heating was superb on a cold night! The bathroom was modern with good shower and hot water. Breakfast was very convenient to order for delivery in our rooms and good quantity.

Some other guests were somewhat noisy late at night which was a pity.

The alfresco backs onto a picturesque river, best bathroom I have been in for a very long time. Very spacious shower, good for couples. The baby cot, was prepared professionally, very safe and comfortable. Will highly recommend to family and friends.

Could not stay due to my financial situation. My ex partner told me she has no love for me. She told me the baby was not my creation.

We were very impressed with the Donald Riverside Motel. The Units had obviously been refurbished, and so were quite modern in appearance. The gardens were beautiful and unusual for a Motel. A lot of care has been given to this Motel.

Trucks on the main road. The exit being through dilapidated metal buildings!
