The property is small, but provided the most comfortable stay I’d had in the previous four motels. The staff had put the heater on for me so that I didn’t walk into a cold room, and the inclusion of an electric blanket (it was very cold) was just wonderful. Small things such as a makeup remover cloth showed that the staff had thought about the comfort of its visitors. An actual armchair to relax into was also welcoming. While the room may not be large, it was cosy and provided me with a relaxing environment and a good nights sleep - how much more could I ask for!

Very sweet, quaint, lots of special details in the gardens and such that tell you, this place is managed with love. It was so quiet and peaceful. I slept like a baby, very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean!

I would have liked a small table to sit at, but there would not be room for it. It did have two lounge chairs and a small coffee table, dresser, night tables and a large television. I just like having something to sit at that I can write on.

The bedroom was large, it was clean

There was no door handle on the bathroom door, to keep it closed you had to put a wooden peg under it, there was no light in the shower recess, only the light near the mirror in the bathroom, the single bed kept rolling when you moved in it. Never saw any staff and I couldn't find a book with the story of the motel

It was a clean and comfortable stay. The bed was wonderful, and we had strong hot water in the shower. The staff were really helpful. Overall, a great budget stay.

The facilities were a little old, and the air conditioning struggled a bit in the 40-degree heat heat. But neither of these issues were a surprise or a deal breaker with the low cost of our accommodation.

The location was convenient for our needs, as we needed somewhere to stay for one night on our way home from a 3 week road trip. It was clean comfortable and warm.

We went to the Farmers Arms for tea and had trouble finding the entrance to the motel when it was dark. some kind of lighting outside would be helpful,

The location, we were travelling to Melbourne hence worked well. We didn’t have any real expectations. When we arrived, it was nice to walk in to a warm room. The owners left the heater on for us which was so lovely as it was extremely cold. Great for short stays. We would stay there again 😊

There weren’t enough blankets - we didn’t like to leave the little electric heater on all night, we managed.

Staff is very nice and approachable. The garden is also nice with plum fruits! The room has good size and the beds are comfortable. Good value for money.

The toilet's door lock is broken; good thing there's a stopper that is provided. A heater is provided in the room, but none in the shower/toilet area. The garden can be improved.

Good value for money Old. A bit like a time warp. But it had all the necessary facilities including a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Good bed linen and thick towels.

Remove the shelf above the pillows so don’t hit your head. Mattress too hard.

Definitely a budget room. No frills. However: the staff were excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the room although older was very clean, the shower was hot, and the area was quiet. Great night's sleep.

An upgrade of the bathroom would be a great addition. Putting the TV on the wall would make the room look bigger.

The bedding was clean, the towels were clean and apart from a couple of cobwebs, the rest of the room was clean. The water was hot and the bed had an electric blanket. The motel is set back from the road a little, which helps with the traffic noise. It was all I needed.

The room was basic and on the small side. The fixtures and fittings were dated and worn. There were cracks in the wall and in the wall tiles of the shower. It is exactly as the name suggests; a "budget" room. Very comfortable though!
