Quiet and very comfortable The cheese board was incredible and BBQ platter was good too

Understanding that there is no restaurant however would have been a little better if there was a restaurant for meals as there isn't really anywhere close to have a meal Driving 20mins to closest restaurant was inconvenient to have a meal Having a cheese board and BBQ platter was great (except chops very fatty)but you can't have that for all your meals when we're there for 4 nights Also no drinks available either soft drink or alcohol Also spa wasn't available as for Easter weekend but would have been great if service was available Even if there was a tarrif we would have used facility

The property boasts a spectacular location with beautiful outdoor settings, a lovely, well-furnished living space layout with adjacent billiard table room.

The main disappointment was that despite being called a “spa retreat,” access to sauna and spa facilities cost an extra $100 per person per hour - not included as you’d expect from a spa property. This made the accommodation feel overpriced for what was essentially a standard room. The continental breakfast was also repetitive, being identical each day with limited variety.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The grounds were beautiful, spa was welcoming and warm. Couples spa was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was nice and simple, the additional menu was nice. EVyerhting was nice. Bed was comfortable, spa bath was amazing.

I almost didn't book, i researched through google maps to begin with to find a spa and the first image that popped up for Chimes was of the pool (visitor photo), and at first glance it did not look appealing. Almost didn't book. Didn't like that there was no dinner service. I arrived on the 10th for my birthday was expecting to have nice dinner at the retreat but had to go out. Would have been nice after a long days drive and spa to just stay in, but had to go out.

We booked here as everything in the town was full, however it was a beautiful surprise, the grounds are beautiful and view from the property is amazing and the room is nicely set up. They include a basic breakfast and afternoon tea. It is kind of secluded from the town if you are looking for a get away, however you have to drive everywhere as they don’t have a restaurant, so the location can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for.

The room was dusty and the spa was dirty, it didn’t affect us but for a high-end place as Chimes tries to be, they need more attention to detail regarding cleaning. They didn’t let us know in advance that there is not food available for dinner and we had to drive to the town, again, the location can be bad if you aren’t prepared.

We loved the position up in the hills but still with sea view. The structure is very beautiful inside and outside and really invites you to relax. The room is elegant and spacious with a very big bathtub and shower. The breakfast was nice and was done in the space next to the reception that has a view of the sea.

The room has a lock with a key which is not super handy to bring along and the room is unfortunately not very soundproof. If rude guest talk and laugh in the hallway and the close the door you can hear it very well. In addition, as many structure in WA, the darkening of the room is not ideal and we were woken up by the lights in the morning. Small things, overall I would definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing weekend!

This was the first stay of an 11 day holiday - the longest one we have had in 15 years and was just what the "doctor ordered"! It was better than a home away from home and in a gorgeous location. Staff were great, breakfast fabulous with a great view and we loved the port by the fire playing board games. We couldn't have asked for a better beginning and really felt like we were starting to unwind from running our own business. Don't hesitate - just book your holiday here!

From the moment you walk In, chimes is luxuriously Devine. Beautiful setting, immaculate room, generous sized natural spa products to enjoy, stunning deep circular bath, tranquil colour scheme, welcomed with a glass of port and evening bite sized cake. Nature through every window, well established gardens, with little paths, a bridge, running brooks and a private pool nestled away within lush naturally landscaped gardens. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and good quality products. Staff were friendly, welcoming, without being intrusive.

Lovely location out of town amongst the trees but with a view across to the coast. Lovely peaceful gardens and quiet shared spaces. Excellent comfortable room with large round bath with a great view. Accommodating host who ensured the stay was relaxing and enjoyable, including extra nice little touches such as Lindt Easter chocolate bunnies on the breakfast table for each guest on Easter Sunday; coffee and tea available any time (including afternoon tea); Cheese and port available in the evening.

Continental breakfast was tasty and adequate but limited, variety with no cooked breakfast options available. Although we tried to book spa treatments (massage) a couple of weeks before our stay, there was no availability.

Lovely rural location but still only 5 minutes from Denmark. The bath is fantastic (especially after a busy day visiting some of the many attractions in the area). The included breakfast provided a full range of options for a good start to the day. Lovely touches including the free evening port and access to shared kitchen and BBQ facilities if wanted.

There is no suitable chair/worksurface for using a laptop. The only suitable surface is standing height right in front of the TV and under the air conditioner. Access to power sockets could have been better.

This was certainly a beautiful place to spend with family and friends. The view was amazing and very picturesque. The spa treatment was to die for. Could have easily had a little snooze whilst enjoying a relaxing massage which left me wanting more. The room was big and spacious, and I even enjoyed sitting out on the decking having a read. If you have forgotten a book there is a whole wall of books and even games to play. It was also nice to have a little tipple of Port when we came back from dinner and sat out and chatted on the comfy couches. I would definitely come back again.

The only thing I didn't like was where the bath was in the room. It was a little bit hard to get into especially if someone was in the bathroom. That is the only fault I could find.
