Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Large bathroom. Ample towels. Nice little balcony on top floor. Has tea and coffee making facilities but no toaster. TV but did not use it. Space for luggage and wardrobe. Table and chairs. Shower hot. Free parking and easy access from rooms into the dining room and pub.
Just a personal gripe and not really an issue but hate it when the toilet paper is behind, rather than beside, the toilet.

For an old building it is kept very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is useful having the cafe and bar on site as there are not many dining options in pemberton and the bar area has a lot of character. Aircon worked well too which was great. It's a good location for the local forest areas - cascades, beedelup falls and the big brook dam beach are all worth a look, even when water levels make the falls less exciting.
The WiFi didn't work in our room so we needed to catch up with things in the reception/bar area. Apparently this is pretty normal. The rooms are clean and comfortable but a little dated and gloomy, however, compared to other options it's good value and I would stay there again.

We had stayed at the Pemberton before and were happy to return for the comfort and experience. Staff here were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel may seem a bit overpriced; even for its location.; we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Having the cafe and Pub attached is a bonus and we ate there for most of our stay. The food and service at the pub was great and had a good menu including Pizzas. Other than wanting to try other places for the experience we were happy to eat there. I have not added photos as there are enough on the web to give testimony to this place.
Can't think of anything.

staff was great and location was great. loved the pub next door at night. the room was great , loved the balcony.
only negative was the bathroom. my shadow can be seen from the street if i had the lights on at night in the bathroom. shower needs something to stop the water from running throughout the bathroom. I couldnt use the spa bath water splashed out of the tub from the jets.

The food and hospitality I missed the cut-off for the free continental breakfast as I didn't read the instructions properly. The lady on the desk made me a coffee and some toast. They went above and beyond., the porterhouse steak I had for dinner the night before was the best steak I'd had in years.
The bathroom tap, for the life of me, I couldn't work out how to get hot water, not a big deal.

We needed a one night stay before proceeding to Albany, this hotel serves it purpose as a great stop point for rest. considering the price point, it is value for the $. Though you might be met some little crawlies like insect or spider. but no biggie

Main part of room very nice. Hotel and food great.
The bathroom was ok but dated and 'modified'. The cabinet was homemade with just cheap timber although the basin and bench top were new and the toilet stuck out from the wall into the room about 2 foot with a multitude of plumbing behind it. You had to be a contortionist to stretch behind you for the toilet paper. Small things in the scheme of life but very noticeable at the time of use. No teaspoons to stir our coffee.

Staff were lovely, food was good. Hotel room was clean and comfortable
The location of our room (34) made for an exceptional amount of noise. We came back from touring to find out room propped open. The cleaner said they had not long finished but they had moved on and our room was still fully propped open. Nothing you can do but the exceptional amount of noise from upstairs guests made for 2 difficult nights sleep.

The staff were amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them to attend to. The restaurant food was good value and specials changed each day. Being open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a bonus. The bed was extra large and comfortable. The room was clean and serviced each day. Would recommend.
The shower screen door leaked, but on being reported, I am sure it will be attended to.

The food in the hotel part was really nice
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so noisy it felt like a helicopter was landing outside the window - LOL!! The allocated room - the bathroom toilet paper was basically behind you - not good for twisting your back to access it. There is another wall it could be put on for easier access.
