I liked that it had a balcony, sadly, it rained the whole visit, so I didn't get to use it. I also liked the funky lighting and the thermometer on the window to the balcony, small touches can make the difference. The city is very cute and everything walkable.

The pillows were the worst, one was very thin and the other super lumpy, although I appreciate that they were not down as i'm allergic to down. Invest in nice pillows that at not too firm but not too soft and not too thin or lumpy.

The hotel had the lovely feel of an exceptionally well run private hotel. Everything was done with care. The hotel was very nicely designed with everything you could wish for. The roof terrace was a lovely unexpected extra to enjoy on a warm summer’s evening. The breakfast was also really good.

It was really a lovely hotel — very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly! They have a lovely roof terrace, with a self-service minibar, where you can relax and watch the sunset. Breakfast was also top-notch!

The shower was very small and water gets all over the bathroom floor.

The communal lounge and outdoor area was lovely, the exceptionally well equipped honesty bar was a great added extra. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had.

The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning, however the weather outside was over 30 degrees during our stay.

A little bit away from the station/centre but the busses were regular. It was an exceptionally warm day so air con would have been good.

Clean, cheap. 10 minute walk to center.

No microwave or fridge in room. My ground floor double room was close to the lobby, so there was some noise from there but the place is overall quiet, so it wasn't too bad.

Everything was perfect. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was convenient. On the first day, we arrived very early in the morning (almost 9:30) and asked for an earlier check-in which was accepted without any hesitation and without charging anything more. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was complete and with high-quality food.

The cost per night was a bit expensive but I believe at this time of the year (it was just before Easter) all around Dornbirn the hotels were quite expensive so Sonne Hotel wasn't an exception and we really enjoyed our stay.

Heater wasn't overly warm but the reception staff gave us an additional heater to compensate.
