Very friendly and helpful personell. We travelled as a family with our 5 year old son. We went there for hicking and I got from the reception the best recommendation on where to go. The hotel is clean, modern, quiet, with a personal touch in every room. The breakfast had everything we wanted and a cozy atmosphere. Also the restaurant in the evening was a pleasure. It is situatued right in the center of Großarl, which makes it very easy to either go for a hike right there or take the bus. I would come back again, any season.

We had a very nice time at Berg-Leben and the friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. We booked at short notice and were lucky with our choice and were completely satisfied. The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are modern and spacious, the breakfast is a fabulous treat, the ski bus leaves right outside the door and at Christmas time the beautiful Advent market is right on the doorstep. At the reception you are advised about activities and luckily they also informed us that an alpine lodge was closed - otherwise we would have been standing in front of closed doors after a hike. We visit Grossarl in both summer and winter and simply love this valley.

Owners and personnel in the hotel are really great, very helping and attentive, we were given all the necessary info about climbing and interesting staff to do in the town. Location is also nice, even though a bit noisy, but with closed windows it is fine, markets, climbing roots are just by 5 min walking. Restaurant with good service, food and drinks. New and modern design in rooms and hotel, enough space in rooms, beautiful view from the balcony and cool chair.

I understand that this place is all about nature, but what I did not like that there were way too many flies inside the restaurant and breakfast room, you should do something about it, because during breakfast they were all around food, which could be dangerous for the health. Also we found two big spiders in our room, which was scary, you have to check the room for insects before the guests’ arrival for their safety.

Perfect hotel, modern furnishings and nice size rooms, Staff always very friendly, house keeping daily. Great breakfast choices too. Location perfect for skiing, a free ski bus stops right outside the hotel every 15 mins and takes you straight to the slopes. Also shops, bakery’s and restaurants round the corner. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again in the future

All is perfect.

Everything was perfect at Berg-Leben, up to the smallest detail. Room was totally comfortable, bed with orthopaedic mattress, and a couch and a stylish armchair to relax in. The hotel is at the very center of the picturesque mountain town of Grossarl, with art shops and traditional clothing boutiques in the very surroundings. For skiers, the ski-bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is abundant, tasting great because made of high-quality ingredients. Hotel has a cosy restaurant cooking superb salads, burgers, pizzas and even vegan food.

Cosy little family owned hotel with great views a s restaurant/bar, pretty close to Großarl ski resort. Hotel staff was very helpful.

There were not many facilities in the hotel. A bit pricey for the quality.
