Great facilities, beautiful room, solid breakfast, good location, very nice spa (pool & saunas); therefore overall high number. However...

What didn´t work was lack of (any) service or going above & beyond. Feels like owners decided to invest money in fancy vases and decoration but forgot to hire more staff or read what hospitality is about/ how magical moments are created. Cleaning - barely any; any extra ask we had was mostly answered "not possible" (book a dinner, prolong parking..). It all felt very direct and Dutch(?). One exception - I´d like to thank to one waitress that helped us get some basic food from restaurant, after our late arrival - very appreciated! (unfortunately we didn´t ask her name). No hard feelings:) but having paid cca 440 CHF/ night I expected similar level of hospitality that you can get in such range (NH, Westin/Marriott, Shangri-la, Hyatt, Virgin...)

Nauders is a lovely place to reach the mountains. VAYA was recently renovated so everything looks new and I’ve really enjoyed the untreated wood used for the interior design. We stayed in a huge room on the first floor very well organised for space and storage, with access on a terrace with sun-beds shared with few other rooms and view on the castle. Comfortable bed. The food both at dinner and breakfast was good and available throughout the eating time window with good variety day after day. The wellness area is divided in textile and in naked section for everyone’s comfort.

It’s nearly impossible to park the car for free outside of the paying areas reserved by the various hotels, very little public parking is available in town. It’s a chain, I’ve missed the warmth of family owners at reception, though everyone was professional. I’ve missed also the “daily newspaper” by the hotel with weather, stories and events for the day. The last thing I’ve missed is food (milk, butter, mushrooms,…) sourced locally. The free Nauders summer card you get with the stay is practically useless and need to pay to upgrade it, other areas in Tirol provide activities and cable cars access with it not mainly discounts as this one. The relax area right next to the main pool can get noisy and not silent when kids are in the pool.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff! Bed was REALLY soft, we couldn't get a proper sleep, just cannot sleep well on very soft mattresses... Hotel had a lovely breakfast included in the price. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is worth to say that often these days service isn't friendly across many hotels. VAYA NAUDERS has some of the most friendliest people working at a reception and the restaurant! Thank you!

Beds were REALLY soft. We had not slept that well, but that's more an exception than a normalcy.

The SPA facilities are very good, the rooms are recently renovated and the location is super good,

The hotel was still under renovation and some areas were closed or dirty, many workers inside and outside the hotel, you can see the attached pictures. The room noise insulation is not so good, we could hear the people talking above . The parking is very limited, but they have a bigger parking 800m away and they offer transfer to reach it, but we managed to park the motorcycles in front of the hotel on the side of the road by the fence, and they charged us a small amount though even though we haven’t used a proper parking slot. The breakfast could have been better, we’ve stayed in many other hotels on our trip and this breakfast was on of the most basic ones.

The facilities were really good and the location was great

Actually everything was good. The only thing that we could think of would be to offer snacks at the bar. Especially coming back from skiing and waiting for dinner, it would be nice to have something in between.

The food was delicious, the Spa was excellent and the staff was very helpful with our dog.

Good location only a few minutes walk to the centre. Very good breakfast with wide choice of food to suit all tastes. Well appointed rooms with all facilities.

Unfortunately due to staff shortages we were unable to have an evening meal there but the reception staff directed us to an excellent restaurant just a few minutes walk away.

Beautifully decorated, great breakfast, great location, great pool. Great value for money - loved it!
