The breakfast buffet had enough choice to satisfy our family, the hotel and the rooms are very quiet, the windows don't let the outside noise in. Location is of course the star of the show, not only it's right across from the entrance to the beach and the beach playground and the lighthouse but also a pizzeria is in the same building and so is a small convenience store

Our personal struggle was with the beds, completely fine for older kids and adults but a bit high for our 3 year old so had to improvise with arranging pillows (plenty on offer) and furnishings around. An extra thing that I would have liked to have is a power shower head, but again it's just a personal preference

Great staff - the owner welcomes every guest herself. The standards are high plus really nice breakfasts with delicious bakery products, which is not always the case in other places we've been to. Right next to the lake. So if you're travelling with small kids and want to take a short break from a road trip (we were on our way to Croatia from Poland), then I can highly recommend the spot.

It's good if you speak some German, or understand it at least.

Room was in great shape, clean, fresh, with a nice lakeside view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried pizza in the restaurant and it was pretty good, not quite Italian quality but really good nonetheless. Restaurant staff was very friendly as well and service was professional and quick. I'm not sure why there are several bad reviews on Google, we found every aspect of our stay very pleasant and enjoyable and will definitely come back in the future.

Restaurant closes between 9-10pm as everything else around, which was kind of a let down, especially since it was the weekend.

Based on Google rating, we were a bit afraid BUT the accomodation and the stuff were amazing! Everything perfectly clean, rooms had big bathroom, coffee maker, refrigerator and AC and the stuff was really helpfull, explaining us all surounding tips and possibilities. Also breakfast was rich and delitious. Nice place, we will return!

My wife and I spent a week at Al Faro in July of 2023. The hotel is very nice, with clean, spacious rooms. The breakfast is absolutely top-notch, with huge variety of food and very tasty as well. Where the experience really shines, however, is with the staff. I can honestly say I've never been to a friendlier hotel. Everyone was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and warm. We would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful tasty breakfast in neat and comfortable restaurant with nice view and calm environment. Fresh vegetables, plenty of side dishes, lovely fish and delightful cup of coffee with traditional Austrian strudel. It is within a short walking distance to the beach and all amusements of this place, including the local place of interest - the lighthouse. Host are the wondeful silver haired couple. The name of this hotel “Al Faro” in Italian means “At the Lighthouse”. Beautiful.

I can hardly find anything to dislike about this cozy hotel by the lake shore.

When we arrived, the room felt like cleaned a moment ago and very quickly. I could be specific, but it does not matter, nothing too serious.
