The design and "finish" is superb. Great beds and bathrooms. Huge room. Barbara is a brilliant host. Breakfast is perfect.

In January the town is virtually closed - no restaurants or bars and one cafe - many shops closed too. I'm looking forward to my stays in February, March and April!! There is plenty of other stuff to do nearby so this is only a tiny issue - Rattenberg was still very charming - an amazing array of glassware shops - and the silence and beauty were enhanced by the lack of people and traffic. A gem of a town.

The rooms are big and beautifully restored. The hotel is in the middle of Rattenberg and right by the river.

We did not have the possibility of leaving our luggage at the hotel on the day we left, as the staff does not seem to be present all the time

A beautiful building & stunning conversion into a boutique guest house, great attention to architectural interior details and high quality finishings and furniture. Rooms generously spacious, comfortable bed. Perfect location in the town, a calm hotel.

Rooms are minimal in terms of comfort & lack standard essential hotel room comforts such sufficient bathroom needs, and in the bedroom-living area: robes, slippers, coffee/tea, tissues, glasses for water, etc, to complete the boutique experience. Was a bit disappointing, especially considering the very expensive room rate. Very small things, easy to solve. Our room was particularly dark.

The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were extremely helpful with all aspects of our trip, it was like staying with family. I would highly recommend this hotel to all visitors to the area.

Amazing hotel. The building itself is so special and the way the owners have renovated the place is truly remarkable. The hotel is situated in such a lovely town and we had a great view from both rooms. The rooms are super spacious and the design is very special. Breakfast was amazing!! We've had such a great time and will definitely come back! Thanks so much!!

Amazing location, combination of old and new in the decorations. The host is amazing. Excellent breakfast. Everything was perfect.

The hotel and hostess, Barbara, were exactly the experience that we had hoped for. A beautifully restored building, great little town, breakfast was delicious, and our hostess took time to share the joy of blending historic and modern traditions. Also we traveled by train easily.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay.
